“We loved staying at the Village House Inn! We had family from three places gather here for several days. Everything was nice and clean and well maintained. We gathered at the dining room table and living room to chat and catch up with each other. Having a bathroom for each bedroom was a big plus. “This property is amazing and even bigger than it looks in the pictures. Very comfortable and quiet. Rick was very helpful and showed us a few things when we arrived. It was a couple of blocks from the trail head to the Root River Trail which was beautiful! It was perfect for 2 couples. We will definitely stay again! Thank you Rick!”

“Well-maintained cabin not far from Lock 6 on the Mississippi river. Has a screened porch, useful on days when mosquitos are active. There is a fire pit with firewood to enjoy evenings outside. A gas grill is also on-site to grill some steaks, should you decide to. Beds are comfortable. Owners take great care to make sure your experience is as good as it can be.”

“The property was very cute. Especially the patio. Although we didn't use the amenities there such as the fire pit and the hammocks, it pretty much had everything we needed for a somewhat rustic weekend. I did like that the code to the door was just texted to us so we didn't have to really check in at any given time. “We wanted a pet friendly "home away from home" and we certainly found it. The cottage is very nicely appointed inside and has pretty much everything you could want! We only used the master bed and although it is quite a soft mattress it is very comfortable and great pillows (which we never find!)
