“Amazing stay. The hosts are so kind and generous. We got in late and they checked in on us to make sure we were able to make it safe. We pretty much had an entire camp ground to ourselves. The area was so quiet and beautiful(besides the occasional train which we didn’t mind) we got to light a small camp fire and play a few games they have out for us as well. “Don’t hesitate—just book the cabin. Seriously. It was perfect.Kelly was super nice and easy to communicate with, the cabin was spotless, and when I say the hot tub was HOT… I mean actually hot (as it should be ).The property was super easy to find, there was plenty of firewood (no scavenger hunt required), and the fire pit made the nights even better.I enjoyed every minute of it and was genuinely sad to leave, which tells you everything you need to know. “We were looking for a weekend getaway away from a lot people, so we chose to rent a cabin here. The cabin came without a TV which was not listed on any sight we were on. The property was beautiful and big, but the roads were gravel and muddy from a recent rain. Only one of the pools were open. The "beach" is not swimmable and is located along the Trinity River which can be pretty gross at times. The positives though were it was out of the way and very quiet. It left for a very relaxing weekend.……
