I and a friend stayed here while on a fishing trip. The pictures and description of the property was accurate. It is small, but if you’re staying while hunting or fishing it fits the bill. It is a little house—just as advertised—but nicely set up and equipped. It is about 11 miles out of Licking. If you come in to stay, a piece of advice: do NOT take Slabtown Rd in to the property. It is worth driving a little further and entering from Licking to have a paved road versus a narrow, gravel, sandy, muddy road.

Amazing stay!

This was an amazing getaway for me. Everything i needed was there. Very clean and cute. Well supplied. The owner was the best sending someone out to pull me out of snow. I will be staying again.

1. When I arrived, there were a large number of flies, many dead on the floor but many alive. My body count was 17 the first night, it never really stopped. I could not figure out how they were getting in. I'm a country boy and expect some lady bugs and flies but really? Everything else was clean and orderly. Everything needed was there.2. I never did get the door lock to work. A key was provided to assist.

Finding the place was a challenge, our flight was delayed so by the time we got there it was dark and hard to figure out if we were in the right place. Someone to greet us and explain things would have made a big difference. The second bedroom was basically not usable, the ladder was very sketchy and the corrugated metal ceiling had sharp edges and was so close to the bed that it was dangerous so I ended up sleeping on the folding sofa bed which was not very comfortable for a 63 year old person. On a lighter note, we enjoyed our stay once we got settled in.
