Such an old building is difficult to keep on top of the superficial stuff. The food was excellent and Rob and Rich are SO friendly. If you want polished, and pristine maybe look elsewhere. If you like a good country house style hotel this is ideal.

Met with a smile, arrived late and still offered dinner which was gratefully received. Robert and Richard were lovely hosts. Breakfast and dinner were fantastic. Kippers and eggs cooked to perfection. Stayed in the Granville.room. Lovely room with a four poster bed. Will be back for that award winning Sunday roast on way back down next time.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay, we were made very welcome and the room (Granville) was absolutely lovely. The bed was very comfortable and there was ample tea coffee chocolate supplies in the room. The staff were very friendly, proficient and professional. There are no negatives. Thank you for a lovely evening we hope to visit again.
