Located on the top floor (5th floor) of the main building, this suite is conveniently situated for easy access to the front desk, restaurants, elevator, and parking. Plus, it offers the most stunning views in the entire resort!

From the moment you step inside, you'll be greeted by breathtaking pool and ocean views that can be enjoyed from both the suite and the spacious lanai/balcony. The suite itself measures 307 square feet, while the balcony adds an additional 58 square feet of outdoor space for you to relax and take in the scenery.

With a comfortable king-sized bed, this suite comfortably accommodates 2 adults. The chaise lounge is perfect for a child aged 5-10 years old. Additionally, there is a twin-sized air mattress available, which can be set up for a larger child or a third adult. For families traveling with infants, a Pack-n-Play crib is provided at no additional cost.

Per Kauai County laws, the suite does not have any cooking facilities, we offer coffee maker and a 3.5 cu. ft. fridge with freezer(counter height bar/mini fridge size). Cooler and ice packs provided. There is an ice machine and microwave down the hall in the guest lounge. Laundry facilities are on the first floor of building 1.

Furnishings are comfortable and updated.

The resort features:
• 4 swimming pools, including 2 lagoon pools, 75-ft lava tube slide, & kid-friendly pool with sand bottom

While a lot of people enjoy staying at the resort for the pools, spa, restaurants, and beach, many people will use my place as a great home base to explore the rest of the island. Lihue puts you less than an hour to the north and south shores so you can really cover the whole island easily during a relatively short stay. A rental car is recommend and booking as far in advance as possible will get you the best rates.

Check in is 4pm on the day of your arrival.
Registration and room key are obtained at the front desk in the resort lobby just like you would in a hotel.

The room key will be needed for the fitness center. Pool towels are provided in the room. Choose from 4 swimming pools, including 2 lagoon pools with waterfalls and a kid-friendly pool with a sand bottom. 24-hour fitness center. Spa and Salon. On site restaurants and bar. Business center with computer.

Parking is $35.00/day plus tax and is paid to the resort directly.

-Free WiFi throughout the resort.
-There is no daily maid service. My housekeeper is independent from the resort. Mid stay cleaning, towel and trash service, or toiletries replenishment can be requested for a charge direct from my housekeeper. I do have extra supplies(toilet paper, tissue, soap etc) in bins under the bed and I supply more towel sets for longer stays
-Stays of longer than 7 nights will receive a free mid-stay room clean with fresh sheets and replenished towel and toiletries sets
-The cleaning fee, regardless of length of stay, is included in your total booking charge and prepares the room between guest stays
-There are no shops or restaurants within walking distance outside the resort so a rental car is recommended. Uber, Lyft, public bus, and taxis are also available

Frequently Asked Questions FAQ

• Is this a 1 bedroom condominium?
Once a Hilton hotel, the Kauai Beach Resort is a "condotel"(condominium-hotel). You get resort luxury and individually owned rooms. However of the 364 total units, not many are owners like myself where you can book directly and save a lot of money.
My suite is hotel size: 307 square feet with a 58 square foot balcony. Most units are about this size and have similar furnishings. Due to Kauai law for this type of accommodation(condotel), there are no cooking appliances in the room, but there is a coffee maker and mini fridge with freezer. Ice machine and microwave are just down the hall. Cooler and ice packs provided.

• What's the difference between my suite, renting directly from the resort, or some other travel agency or website?
The difference is price, amenities, housekeeping, and choice of room. My suite is quite a bit less expensive overall and has one of the best views since it is on the highest floor with direct(instead of angled) ocean views.
Amenity differences(subject to change):
-no maid service for stays of 7 nights or less unless you request it for an additional fee. For stays of 8 nights or more, I will provide a free mid-stay cleaning which will give you fresh sheets and towels. If you do run out of what is initially supplied, I have extra supplies(toilet paper, tissue, coffee, etc) in bins under the bed should you need it but bring your own shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion just in case. I also try to supply enough bath towels to last your stay. If you think you may need more towels once you arrive, let me know so I can send more
-I do not charge a daily resort or amenity fee...a savings of $25/day
-the resort fee gives other guests the following extras(subject to change): newspaper, DVDs, Playstation, and yoga classes. My guests can still use the pools, spa, restaurants, bar, room service, shops, business center, fitness center, car rental, and laundry room. Plus my guests have to pay to rent DVDs.
How much is parking?
-parking is $35.00/day plus tax. All guests pay for parking
-during your stay, if you need assistance you contact myself or my on-island contact person. Most other guests would go to the front desk.

• Is this an ocean view suite?
YES. And it is not just visible out on the lanai/balcony sticking your head around the corner. It is a straight on view from the highest floor in the resort. Other independent owner suites may be less expensive, but you are getting a mountain or lagoon view.

• Is there a kitchen?
No, but I have a 3.5 cubic foot(mini) fridge with freezer and a coffee maker. There are no plates, bowls, glasses, or utensils. A microwave and ice machine are down the hall. Sorry, Kauai law for this type of property does not permit cooking appliances inside the unit

• What is there to do?
For short stays, you may want to keep it simple and stay at the resort enjoying the restaurants and bar, walks along the beach, tennis, spa, or one of the pools. For longer stays, booking a rental car ahead of time and picking it up at the airport makes sense. With a long term car rental to explore all over, there is an additional parking charge. Car rental rates vary depending on where you rent, so shop around. This great mid-island location puts you less than a hour away from the tourist activities on the north shore and south shore

• What is the bedding arrangement?
The suite is ideal for 2 adults and 2 children using the king size bed, lounger, and twin sized air mattress. I also provide a pack and play crib for babies and toddlers. The lounger is 53 inches long by 27 inches wide. Maximum accommodation is 3 adults and 1 child or 2 adults and 2 children. If you plan to use the air mattress or Pak-n-Play crib, you will have to take it out of the closet or dresser drawer and unfold it and the space in the room will be pretty tight. The air mattress inflates with a plug in pump in a couple minutes. They are both pretty easy and quick to do and I do not charge extra for them.

• Do we need our own beach towels?
I provide towels to use at the pools or beaches.

• Is there a resort fee?
No, not if you are booking directly from an owner like myself. You can still enjoy the fitness center, pools, and more.

• What about WiFi?
WiFi is free throughout the resort and in the room.

• Does the suite have air conditioning?
Yes. And nice ocean breezes.

• Other amenities in the room?
Blue Ray DVD player, LG flat screen TV, safe, towel drying rack, ice bucket, fridge with freezer, iron, ironing board, and hair dryer. The free to use air mattress and crib are in the closet or dresser drawer and easy to set up. The air mattress inflates in 90 seconds with an electric pump and is quite comfortable. The crib comes with a bassinet attachment.
• Where is suite #2508 located?
It is on the top floor(5th) of building 2. This is near to where you check in and also has the dining and shops. Elevators will get you to your floor. Most other buildings are only 3 floors. I believe this is the only building with the lounge area containing the microwave and some vending machines
