"Reserved this place over other five star luxury modern hotels in the area because our business traveling group wanted a more local, authentic experience. We had high expectations which were exceeded. Situated in aruguably the best and quieter part of Old Town close to a preschool, Amy the owner was a wonderful host who made you feel like you are at home and kindly upgraded us to rooms with breathtaking views of the canal and mountain. We had an amazing and enchanting experience and marked this as a place to definitely revist with our friends and families later in the future! "

"Super great hotel, the service and quality is spectacular. They are very friendly to cyclists, which is amazing to see. They let us put our bicycles in their garage, and did so with a smile. They are very sweet, all of them, the rooms and building are beautiful, and it’s in an excellent location, right near Lijiang old town. They treated us with great care, and the price was excellent. We got excellent recommendations about what local food to try. There’s even some cute cats, and Koi fish in their garden, a fantastic hotel, and I can’t wait to come back. "We spent one night before flying out of China. The staff were very helpful and friendly despite our language barrier. They also arranged transportation to the airport. Breakfast offered American as well as Chinese options. "

"I had an excellent stay overnight en route to my final destination. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was wonderfully comfortable. The lady at reception was really helpful to point me to the train station instead of a taxi for my final destination- much more comfortable ride and much less expensive. She also arranged a taxi for me to the station. "

"The accomodation is located within Lijiang Ancient Town. Cars are not allowed to drive within the town and so customers will be required to contact the hotel staff to arrange manual trolley transport of the luggage to the hotel as it is about 5 minutes of walking from the nearest entrance. The room was overall clean with an unique interior design aligned with the ancient town. However, was quite disappointed with the check out experience, as my family had requested in advance for the staff to help with transporting the luggage out, only to receive a notification from the staff that he drank too much the night before and could not accede to our request."
