Room nice but super loud in the building
The actual room is fine. The neighborhood is good. But I had an awful 2 nights of sleep here. The street lights bleed through because although the curtains are blackout they aren't fitted close to the window so the street light bleeds in on the sides. I put some pillows against one window to have the curtain work to block the light. They definitely need a way to make blackout curtains work.The Sheets were super rough. For that price point one expects and deserves nicer sheets. There was a heat wave when I was there and there was no AC nor a fan. The apartment gets hot during the day.The listing did not say it was located in a loud alley or that it had crazy twisty stairs without an arm rail. The light inside the unit is a ghastly bright white light that is head ache inducing.The floor boards in the shower were uneven and moved when you moved in the shower.Shower pressure was great as was the temperature. And there was nice smelling they body wash, shampoo and conditioner.The toilet paper was very rough! My biggest issue was when I got there at night I had a hard time figuring out which masterlock was to my unit as there are several locks on the bike racks. But moreover it took 3 people to unlock the masterlock!! I had to ask a couple on the street to help me after I struggled by myself for 15 minutes. It took all 3 of us to get it open.Last it was Very loud in the hallways, you can hear everything all day and night. Won’t stay here again.
