DON'T STAY HERE!!
This was the worst VRBO experience I have had in many years.
This place is an antique house that has the potential to be a great place. It is owned by a boutique hotel about a block away so service should be convenient given the proximity. Check in is a hassle since it requires going to the hotel for access (along with lugging your luggage with you).
The house has gone through a renovation at some point. It has since then been allowed to decay with damaged plaster and a whole lot that could benefit by a simple paint job. The furniture is about as cheap as you can get-- an attempt at shabby sheek that is a pure fail.
That is not the worst issue. The real issue is how filthy the place is and how unresponsive they are at addressing this. After almost daily complaints that they clean the place and their insistence that they had, the dead cockroach in the living room remained as silent testament that nothing really had been done besides a partial sweep.
It was pretty disgusting to try to walk those floors despite thick socks. And I am not even a clean freak. So if you enjoy being grossed out by staying in a truly dirty dilapidated place for your vacation go ahead and stay here. Otherwise I would avoid it at all costs.
