“We had a great getaway weekend! We throughly enjoyed the fire pit and wood splitter on site. Out boys enjoyed hunting for “River treasures” each day. Lots of fun things to do! The only appliance missing was a toaster. They have a toaster oven- works just takes a bit longer. We will definitely stay again! ”

“Had a great weekend stay, house is an easy drive , cozy little 2 bedroom house. The house was very clean and well maintained . It rained most of the time so we couldn’t not enjoy the fire pit or the gazebo out front . Would definitely stay here again !! ”

“The cabin was secluded and quite...just what we needed for a weekend get away. Great little town about miles up the road was close enough and far enough away at the same time. Had no issues...bed slept good. Just wished there was a tv in the living room.”

“Beautiful, private cabin that's quiet and peaceful but close to beautiful Elizabethton. Tara is an amazingly thoughtful host. She even had kindling and firewood ready for the firepit. Check in was super easy and the house rules very easy to follow. We definitely will be back. There is a slope with 3 or 4 steps leading to the cabin so yes, for anyone with mobility issues , it may be a consideration. I, myself, have mobility issues and was able to navigate them well (Tara even had 2 walking……

“Well what to say! As a Naturalist and Zoologist I was excited from the booking and the VRBO was everything and more! Between an incredible host to a cabin that was spotless and comfortable, I never wanted to leave! We saw Otters every morning come down the rapids and then the highpoint was a Beaver and juvenile right off the cabin! I work with one and it was just perfect. I could go on and on but I know we will back! The area, the beauty and none for miles! It was priceless!”
