I booked a girls weekend getaway for a belated birthday gift for a friend, actually I booked their neighbor hotel (beach front manor) but there was some maintenance problem with the room I booked so they moved us to the starfish manor. I loved the hotel room, the room was super cozy with beach decor and also had a cute little electric fireplace heater to keep you warm at night. The beach access is super close and easy to access by foot, but it is by stairs at the neighboring hotel. The staff is wonderful at the front desk to check in/out and help with any other needs. Close enough to downtown & other surrounding area's to check out. A wonderful place to stay for any occasion, even if you don't get a beach front room.

Commercially run hot tubs are limited by law at 104°. The tub was as hot as is legal. Parking is super easy. Beach access is easy if you can manage stairs. It’s an older hotel that’s done a decent job of keeping themselves relevant.

We have gone to their sister property (Starfish Manor) almost every year for our anniversary for the last 8 years. This year we opted for Beachfront Manor to have less stairs to beach access. It was definitely not as nice and upkept as Starfish Manor, but it was a very good value for the lower price. Beach access was easy and convenient with not a ton of stairs (although the walk back up to the car was a killer), the views were amazing, the staff was great! The room was clean, but somewhat dated. The whirlpool tub dripped and sometimes the jets went wonky and sprayed everywhere even though the water level was well above. The electric fireplace did shake and bang quite a bit when the winds kicked up.

Very disappointed with our stay in Room 402. The heating system was not working properly, part of the room was extremely cold, there was no ceiling light, no hair dryer, no table, and only one chair for a room that accommodates four guests. The room was also not clean, as we found leftover debris from a previous guest.
I do want to thank Stacy, who was very helpful and brought us a larger heater and extra blankets. She did her best to help, and I truly appreciate her kindness.
The hotel offered a 20% discount, but considering the number of issues, I did not feel it was adequate compensation. I hope these problems are addressed for future guests.
