Beach weekend

Room was adequate, but the fireplace did not work,was listed as an amenitie. outside light didnt work coffee pot and floor were dirty. And fleas, we did not bring a pet. View was great.

You get what you pay for

Cheap place to just sleep for the night while at the beach but not the best place to hang out at. Wasn’t super clean but not horrible. The beds were uncomfortable but we knew that going in based off other reviews.

A place for future visits.

We stayed 3 nights over the 4th of July days and had a relaxing time. Our room had partial ocean view with great vision of the sunset. Shops and restaurants were close, and the Taft District where we saw a great fireworks show.

Mother & Daughter beach trip

Overall it was a nice stay, we loved the view of the ocean and hearing the waves at night. However, there were a few noticeable issues. The biggest concern was the balcony banister that was no longer attached to the deck on the bottom. A toddler could grab hold of it or lean on it and fall right off the balcony, same for a small pet. Otherwise, beach access wouldn't be accessible to everyone. If you are disabled or out of shape, walking up the very steep hill will be very challanging.

Great place to stay!

This is our second time staying at the Sandstone Point Hotel in Lincoln City and it was just as great as the last time. The hotel is a short walk to the beach. Although when we stayed there was construction so we had to go on a bit of a hike but it was still very close! Everything in the hotel was great, but be warned if you’re used to a firm bed some of the units have very very soft beds that you’ll sink right into. We’ll definitely be back!

Great view!

Great view of the ocean. A bit of a climb down to the beach. Unit was very clean. Missing a stopper for the bathtub but a wash cloth worked. Glad there was a bathtub! Coffee was good!

This was a great value with a view of the ocean and a walking path to the beach. You can even hear the waves from the room. As a dog friendly hotel I wasn't expecting quiet, but some will complain that you can hear neighbors every step upstairs and on the stairs.

Condo was clean, liked to ocean view. Beach access isn't exactly easy, the pathway/road was ok but it was very rocky and uneven to reach the beach from the path.

“Not being mean at all”

It was fortunate for us when we were out of the room, our neighbors upstairs didn’t get the same memo as we did. ( Quiet times from 9pm to 7am) We drove miles to get to our destination, Once we arrived the key was visible and not even in the lock box as stated in the text message. It was a very clean place, but the beds were so uncomfortable, there was no fans or an AC unit as stated in the email. The ocean was amazing, but if you are not in the best fit to walk a steep hill and a trail of rocks. This is not a place for you. Honestly, I’m leaving this right here so anyone who wants to stay around this area is aware of some of the flaws we encountered.

It's dirty, paints were off, smells. It was not what we booked We spent over 4 hours at the rental asked someone to help us. this local manager was not there at all. before we were checking out, we went to the beach, when we came back, our belonging were gone I question this organization all together. I think it is very dump to consider this organization in any place. We'd contacted our bank and ask to have our money back inside the room was ok.but outside was dirty and horrified. we have pictures, anyone wants it, you can ask me for a copy it is not what we booked . We booked a one bedroom condo

Disappointed

The only thing positive I have is kudos to housekeeping. The place was clean upon arrival. The front door handle only worked pulling up. The TV and sliding glass door did not work. The beds were uncomfortable. The biggest disappointment was the BIG LIES with booking. It did not look like the same room we booked. There is NOT a person on site anywhere! The phone number listed is false! The only way to reach someone is through vacasa and put in a ticket😖 DUE to the fact that no one is on-site, last night the large party in the Whale rooms were letting off fireworks until 11:30 and the poor dogs in the room above us were digging on the floor terrified. Did not make for a good experience and we will never book with Vacasa again.

Could be better

I love the location in Lincoln City, close to Taft and all the places I enjoy going. However, the room could have been cleaner, dust on furniture, needs a new shower curtain and dirt in places that seem obvious to me to clean. Beds are very uncomfortable and the rooms are definitely not sound proof. I thought the people upstairs would come through the ceiling! The property definitely needs some upkeep and painting. I will say that the Vacasa employees tried to help out where there could. I will not, however, return to this place again.

Loved the little view off the balcony perfect location to drive up and down the coast Draw back.. the beds are awful having to literally get up and out of it several times a night because we all kept getting spasms in our lower back even our 17 year old son was getting up and down all night.
