If you book a stay here be prepared for VERY old school accommodations (picture your grandmother's house from the 1940s). It's quaint, which is sweet, but needs to update minor issues, such as plumbing. I had an ice cold shower and was informed by maintenance that the cause was the next door neighbors having all showered prior to me, thus using up all the hot water (was I staying in a dorm?!). We had window shades that were broken (but replaced immediately) a window that couldn't be opened - but was fixed immediately, and of course, the ice cold shower. The beds are old and if 2 people try to sleep on a queen bed, they will meet in the middle -Ha! This could be beneficial depending on with whom you choose to sleep. I will say that every issue was met with a kind response and some remedies (none for the shower and the bed), but it wasn't exactly relaxing to have to call maintenance every few hours about something new. The view and the lovely beach (a short walk down the hill) are probably worth the hassle of the stay, just be aware of what you're walking into.

Our Cottage was almost 1k for 3 nights and it took three steep flights of stairs to get there. There was no room service of any kind (cleaning or Food), the room has a legit Prison shower, and a jacuzzi that’s falling apart. Even the trash when it got full, we had to take it out. No breakfast offered, no easy way to the beach. Only perk was the view.

Rooms with a view of the ocean, especially from the second floor. The gas fireplace was nice and felt cozy on a chilly summer day. We prefer the cottages to the hotel rooms, cozier, spacious, kitchen facilities, old but well-kept.

We liked revisiting a place we stayed with our children, years ago. It is showing its age, like the rest of us. I do have some items to address. The hot and cold in the sink are reversed. The non-slip strips do not go to the back of the tub which makes it dicey getting out. The toilet float stuck and required jiggeling to refill. The fog was bad but no fault of yours. Thank you.

The bed was the worst bed I have ever encountered. I have a challenging back and I was worse off after trying to sleep on it so consequently only slept 2 hours that night. Ocean view but three double passion windows had a seal broken on all of them that caused moisture to seap in and obscure your view. Honestly I don’t know how this facility can get operational approval from the city. I paid to stay for two nights but left at 8,00 a.m. the following morning. And to think I paid 400.00 dollars to get a back ache and no sleep is totally absurd. Will not recommend this place at all.

Ain't trying to bash the property but if youre gonna charge what you do then i expect the property and rooms to be far better than they were. Would never pay what we did again or stay there again. Rooms were a landlord special. One of the walls wasn't connected in many places. Lots and lots of wear and tear. Curtains needed replaces. No smoke alarm. No lock on the door from the inside which made me feel not at ease. Cigarettes all over the property. The list goes on. When i booked the room i expected the picture i saw and got far different from it.

Amazing staff and place! It was what I needed to get away! I will come back again. Only complaint is the water turned cold for a few minutes. Also, the kids on top of us were running until 10pm so if you get easily annoyed, do the top floor. I didn’t mind it.

We booked an "ocean view cottage" at this "Inn" because of the advertised view. The view of the ocean and beach was 5 star. The bed was clean and comfortable. Furnishings were decent. The staff was helpful and friendly. It is walking distance to the very expansive beach. Those are the good. The bad: It is a motel, the room is an old, dated suite (not a cottage as advertised) in a varying state of disrepair - nothing "nice" about this "quaint" room. This was a dog "friendly" accommodation - we had our dog with us, but she is walked multiple times during the day, stays only on blankets, etc. The carpet in this place had obviously been used multiple times by dogs and not acceptably (or ever) cleaned. Folks, it is amazing what a can of spot shot and about ten minutes can do. Worn out filthy carpet up a stairway to a busted up entry door with a strap metal repair gives the first impression of what one will find inside. Summary: Amazing view, the rest was a real disappointment.

Great views but for a deluxe cottage it was disappointing, very dirty the carpets need a good clean and looked like the shower head was missing , windows were filthy so that ruined the views , the electricals were amazing , spliced and taped how it passed code is amazing , didn’t bother to complain as it was only to sleep in ,,but doubt would stay again as for the cost you could get a clean place elsewhere !

It’s an older hotel but the staff kept is clean. It has a great view of the beach and the ocean and isn’t that far from many stores, restaurants and the casino.
