Let the ocean waves sing you to sleep

Loved that we could see the ocean and hear the waves from our bed - loved the short walk to the beach - property is old and could use some improvements but was clean. Just know they it’s a key friendly place so you may hear dogs barking during the night which was a bit annoying - great place for the price and location is great !!

Needs a little tlc but....

This is NOT an upscale property but the website does not claim it is. Some things purchased at Dollar store...lotion, some glasses helped. The proximty to the ocean and the sound of the crashing waves is second to none. Would probably stay again.

Whale Bonaza

Loved the expierences here. Room was great with a fantastic view. We saw whales from the balcony nearly every night! There was a doe resting in a nearby driveway a couple of mornings. We did not use the beach acess here to many stairs for us. But there was a great beach access 3 blocks away at Nelscott beach. Loved that its on the main floor.Could really use a small dresser or table,there was room for one. We will probably stay here again.🙂

Great room for the price and good accommodations

Nice beach access close by, close to food and shops. Parking lot can be interesting at times. For the money it was wonderful minus 2 things. #1,) the missing door molding / weatherstrip leaves a gap around the door so we heard every conversation outside the room and in the next units. This needs to be fixed . #2.) not the property manager fault but every night we opens the balcony to enjoy the amazing view we were smoked out by the people below us smoking weed. . It really ruined this room for us but again not the property management issue

One of the worst vrbo experiences I’ve ever had. Everything is so dated and frankly a little grimy. There is no place to sit like a table or even a small sofa. The bed was uncomfortable. There was only a crummy little refrigerator and crappy little microwave and coffee maker. Nobody came by to replenish towels or remove garbage. No hairdryer. So basically, this is essentially a 1970s era bad hotel. Don’t come here.

Amazing getaway

This place was amazing. For anyone who is concerned about reviews mentioning the building being beat up or run down, yeah, it shows its age, but dont let that distract you. The room is clean. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The views are great. In the past, i have stayed at places where everything feels wet inside. But not here. It was super comfortable. The beach is close but its a bit of a hike and it is steep. That being said, 90% of the properties on the Oregon coast are like that. Unless you wanna spend 5 times if not more for w beachfront property, just be ready for a hike. The heating and fireplace were great. There isnt any AC though, so if you come during a particularly hot time it might get a bit warm. The location is great. Not quite in Lincoln City and the craziness of being in or near a major attraction or s shopping center, this was an ideal location. Its quiet. Its not busy. All in all, this was an awesome place to stay and I would highly recommend.

OK -- but NOT great

1. I was under the impression that beach access was easy! I had to be a mountain goat to traverse the beach access! 2. The internet connection was lousy -- if at all! Major disappointment!! 3. There were no kleenex! 4 Bathroom fan rattles -- sounds like it is falling apart! 5. The curtain rod disconnects if the curtain holes get caught at the edge of the rod connection! GRRRR 6. No clock! 7. The coffee pot needed to be cleaned before it could be used. The stay was ok! I'm glad it was only for three nights! Lots of frustration.

Misrepresented property

I book this property as the online photos showed it tp be nice and clean. When I arrived the lock entrance was not working properly, i had to input the code several times to get in. Once in, the room appeared not clean and very run down. I immediately called VRBO/VACASA who told methey contacted the on site manager. The bed was disgusting as well as the pillows, they smelled very bad. I slept ontop of two towels i brought on the foot of the bed for two nights, tried to sleep, as I was told they would fix it. The bathroom floors and floors in general were filth. The gas fireplace and/or heater were faulty and the rooms got extremely hot. It got so bad I had to turn the gas off. This rental needs to be to be pulled from the websites until proper maintenence and cleaning can be done. I reached out to VRBO_VACASA for 2 days, received no help. The cleaners were supposed to come by the second day to fix things clean and at least bring new pillows. They left a bag of supposedly clean bedding in a garbage bag in front of the door. I swept up a pile of human hair and dirt off the floors. I left a day early as this place was so dirty and i did not get assistance.

Cute quaint Oceanside Studio

The perfect little place for couples or anyone traveling solo. Balcony had a perfect view of the ocean and was a two minute walk to the beach. If you are older or disabled you will have trouble reaching the beach. It’s a very steep decline there and very rough back up. Room was clean enough, the baseboards and walls could do with a deep clean and it desperately needs a new coat of paint, but nothing that would hurt anyone. 1000% would stay again

Magnificent View from a Real Dump

At least it was clean. Check In literally had me in tears. First, I couldn't find the unit because it's past a fire door and there is no signage indicating that there are also units past the fire door. So I ended up dragging my luggage and dog up and down multiple flights of stairs looking for the unit.The doorcode didn’t work. I had to call Vacasa 3 times to get a keypad code that did work.The Vacasa customer service was very good though. The agents were patient and helpful.Noise from drunk neighbors was loud until late. Fortunately, the sound of the ocean waves helped mute the noise of neighbors.The beach is near, so if you want to be near the sea on a bargain budget, go for it.

Dog friendly; needs improvement

It was nice that I was able to have my dog there, and many other guests also had their dogs staying with them. I had a very nice view of the ocean from my deck and the last night the weather cleared and I saw whales spouting. That was the highlight of my time there. It could use a thorough cleaning, painting, and more comfortable mattress. You have to bring your own cleaning supplies.

Get what you pay for

My title is meant with love and warning. When I booked, I had a certain expectation of what I'd see when we got here. I was pretty accurate. This room looks like it was part of 2B at one point and got divided off into it's own studio. It was in an awkward place to get to. You can't get to it from the building labeled "Seahorse." You have to go through the door between Whale and Starfish, thought the courtyard, down a small flight of stairs, around to the larger flight and back up one level. Then you can get to the room. The porch has the outlet for the gas fireplace for both this room and 2B. And if you sit right in front of them (theoat logical places to sit for the flow of movement on the porch), you will be smelling gas the whole time. There is a huge patch job above the door that still hasn't been taken care of (previous renter mentioned it back in Sept 2024 too). There is only a microwave, mini fridge, no real table to sit at, only one chair inside, and the bathroom is super tiny.However, all that said that is exactly what I expected to find, for the price. The view is absolutely stunning. The room was very clean and perfect for just my husband and me to share, kid free for the weekend.If you don't mind a hike up the hill, the access to the beach isn't too far. At low tide, there are tide pools straight out from the stairs/ramp down to the beach. There are a LOT of spiral sea snails , hermit crabs, and smooth oblong sea snails.
