Beautiful Historic home, one of a kind experience.

  • This beautiful historic home feature 6 bedrooms, 4 rent able rooms and 3 bathrooms, this mansion was beautifully restored in 2017-2019, built in 1913 by Ferdinand C. Fisk, for Harry E. Sidles one of the first Buick dealers in Lincoln along with his many other accomplishments, sold later to the University of Nebraska for the housing of its Chancellors, and one Clifford Hardin who became the Secretary of Agriculture to President Nixon's cabinet in 1969. later sold to Mary Hepburn O'Shea in 1994, where she housed her prominent doll collection until the sale in 2017 to Jeff and Lynette Hellerich.

Charming House and Host

We had 4 couples stay over the weekend. Our host Lynette was gracious and welcoming. We didn’t realize it was a B&B but since we had the whole house was not an issue. Our host lives in the basement so we enjoyed our privacy. Only drawback was the limited number of bathrooms (2 upstairs and 1 downstairs) and only 1 shower. There are plans to add another full bath shortly so may not be an issue. We will be back!

Ten stars!!!

A group of us visited Lincoln for a sporting event and had the pleasure to stay at this amazing house! The property was beautiful, fantastic rooms, perfect location, homemade 5 star breakfast every morning and the best hostess in the business. Every aspect of our stay was effortless, I will make sure to stay at this house every time I stay in Lincoln!

Great stay!

My wife and I met up with three couples for a concert in Lincoln. We all had a great stay; themed rooms are tastefully decorated, Lynette and her husband were great hosts! Enjoyed beverages before and after on their patio, a very laid back and pleasant setting!! Would definitely recommend a stay if you’re looking for accommodations for a large party, will be visiting again!!

Grateful

My family decided to stay at a VRBO as a family. We were in Lincoln for my fathers funeral. We were coming in from 5 different states and needed a home to laugh and grieve together. Lynette was more than we could have asked for. Her attention to detail is appreciated, her kindness is overwhelming. I can not begin to express our gratitude in this challenging situation! We look forward to our next visit.
