Very nice location - in a wealthy enclave. Excellent footpath along a canal takes you most of the way into Lincoln (3-4 mile walk). Great pub, decent food. If you want up market restaurants, there are a few within a 5 minute walk in the neighboring area. Quite area, nice and clean.

Very Comfortable room and easy check in and out. Really nice surroundings, and good local walks. Pub was handy if a bit dated, great band in the garden and a lovely breakfast. Would go back if I need to be in the area again

Apart from a strange noise that came intermittently from either the pipes or the air conditioning, I cannot fault this place. The room was excellent. The quietness of the environment was outstanding. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bath was large and comfortable. There was a little wear and tear on the bannisters and newel posts on the stairway but it was clean and not screaming out for immediate redecoration. The room was in excellent condition and the bed was comfortable. A longer duvet would have been nice because I like pulling my bedding over my head. This was not important but just something I'd have liked. The restaurant is what one expects from a chain and quite pleasant enough. Overall, this place is excellent and if you want peace and quiet, outstanding.

I liked the position of the Hotel as it was on our route north. Breakfast was very good and the gent on Duty was amazing, seemed like he was the only one there and doing all the jobs - he was everywhere and helpful. Did like that the A/C didn't work, there was no extractor fan in the bathroom, or if there was it didn't work. So the room got very hot. Room could of been cleaner, as I found rubbish under the bed when I moved it over slightly and a plastic cup on the shelf unit. But all that being said, the food both Dinner and Breakfast was of good quality.

Such a lovely 2 night stay. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Clean and lovely hotel for the price paid. Only downside to the stay was that on Saturday night although the pub was over half empty there was over a 60 minute+ wait. So we had to travel else where to eat.

Excellent value room with comfortable beds. Very quiet area with a very pleasant canal walk. Pub next door is a typical Marston affair, everything was served hot. Breakfast choices all fine.
