the best service/staff, the best breakfast
the best service I met. The hotel offer everything in the room almost like home! The hotel is 500 yrs old building and it was Palace before that I can feel antique. Staffs are all nice and willing to help carry on luggage that there is no elevator in this hotel. Breakfast is amazing! They only offer room service breakfast and it's plenty food coming with tray car. Really feel like Palace and serve as a princess. Hotel staff helped me booking famous Fado at restaurant and made the reservation as the best seats(first table). I really enjoy the songs and shows. So appreciate the hotel staffs and they remember all the details of guests even they change the front desk staff. They memo all guests needs and handover to next staff to follow. I really love the stays there and will definitely choose the same hotel when I next visit!!!

Lovely room with a fantastic view over the Baixa and the loudest thing was the birds in the trees. 3 minutes walk to Metro and lots of dining choses just down the street. Highly recommend.

I highly recommend it if you want to stay in downtown Lisbon. It is a very nice location and walkable everywhere - subway, sightseeing, and all nice restaurants. The staff is super nice and makes us feel welcome. We would recommend it.

A fantastic place to stay in Chiado. Really close to the tourist areas. Amazing room- very large, comfortable and luxurious. Breakfast was outstanding! A feast was brought to our room every morning. Staff were all lovely and very helpful. A wonderful hotel.

Staff AMAZING! Hotel located in Central Chiado neighborhood. Close to everything! Breakfast in room above and beyond!!! Air Con Great! Large beautiful rooms! There are stairs, no elevator… staff helps with luggage up and down. If you have mobility issues or knee issues this is not for you. We loved it, early 50’s in good shape. Would highly recommend!

Lovely, exceptionally roomy accomodations with a fabulous view of the ocean and city. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. The most wonderful hotel stay we ever had so far! The hotel is located in the downtown area Chiado in walking distance to many shops, bars and restaurants. The room we had was very spaciuos and the breakfast served to the room was enourmous and left nothing to be desired. The icing on the cake is the empathic staff: Maria took care of us from the very first day since our reservation, organized the airport transfer and made good and helpful recommendations. Miguel acted in place of her in the evening hours worthy. Iolanda and her team took extraordinarily good care of the room (and anything else). All of the staff are extremly friendly and made our stay unforgettable. It‘s great to see and feel that all of them practise their job with a lot of enthusiasm and passion! We would highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Lisbon and would surely stay here again!

I stayed here just for a night when returning from Porto and before leaving Portugal. It's near the top of the hill for Chiado and only a few blocks from the shopping area and very convenient for restaurants in the area. I had room #9 and it was enormous with two windows overlooking much of the city including views of the waterfront and the Castelo Sao Jorge. I mentioned to them one small maintenance issue when I departed but otherwise everything was flawless. For those with mobility issues, be aware that because this is a former Palace, it does NOT have an elevator and there are 33 steps to access the level with the rooms.

Gem of Chiado
Excellent location for Lisbon. The hotel premises were just what we needed and the panoramic view was great (sunrise excellent). Breakfast in the room was fabulous! The staff also attended to our needs without hesitation. The only thing that was not up to our expectation was noise on two nights. The first night may have been from the street after the bars closed, but on the second night there was very loud music from downstairs until 2:30. The seems to be a private club, which did not respect the rules of the building. Would I have knows this earlier, I would have been there knocking on the door in the night. There is also a nice wine bar (Wine Not?) almost next door. And for drinks the Rocco is a beautiful upscale venue. Even with the noise experience, would probably stay again.

Great hotel
This hotel was awesome. The room was huge and amazing. Literally a palace room. Biggest hotel room I’ve ever been in. The staff were so amazing. They helped me out a lot to arrange a surprise for my fiancés birthday. Maria was great at responding as were the rest of her colleagues. Breakfast was also fantastic. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. Definitely worth it!

Ideal Location, Relaxed and welcoming atmosphere
Excellent from the moment we arrived, very friendly and welcoming staff. Ideal location, Our room was very spacious and comfortable and the in room breakfast was a treat. Very relaxing stay and great location for shopping and visiting Rossio Square. Would recommend drinks across the road at Rocco restaurant. We also utilized the airport car service from the hotel which was ideal for an early morning flight, great service! Would highly recommend.

Dejligt hotel.
Rigtig fint hotel! 2. gang vi boede her og kan klart anbefales. Vær opmærksom på, at man ikke selv kan bestemme hvad tid man får morgenmad serveret. Vi ankom sent torsdag aften, og så var næsten alle tiderne allerede tildelt andre værelser, så vi kunne kun få morgenmad enten kl. 8 eller kl. 10. Det gjorde ikke så meget, men kan have betydning for nogen.

Finding a treasure!
Having never before been to Lisbon, I didn’t know what the best areas were and where to stay. Well I hit the jackpot with this hotel, just one plus off a main street with shopping and restaurants. The staff was so helpful with suggestions and knowledge of the city with recommendations. The cost considering the room size and full breakfast was simply amazing!!! The only downside is there is no lift, so if you have trouble with stairs you might consider another hotel.

Our stay at the Palace Chiado was just wonderful! The riom are very large and the location is central to going anywhere in Lisbon. I highly recommend!

Old world charm with modern comforts
The moment you check into this hotel you will feel like royalty which makes sense since the building used to be a palace. The staff are very nice and will cater to your every need. Beautifully appointed spacious rooms with all the modern conveniences. They also provide you with a lovely hot breakfast personally delivered every morning to your room. One drawback though is that because it's an old building there is no elevator so if you have heavy luggage you are going to have to haul it up four or six flights of stairs depending on where your room is. This property is also located in a prime location with lots of sites no more than 15 minutes away and plenty of great places to eat and shop.

Live like a Royal at Palace Chiado!
From start to finish we had a great stay at Palace Chiado. We used the Meet & Greet Valet Transfer and had a smooth ride to and from the Hotel. The room was clean and spacious and you felt like a royal living there. The breakfast was delicious, served with a smile every morning. 10 out of 10 would live there again!

This is a fantastic property and the staff are just great and personable. We have travelled many times to Lisbon and this is best place we have yet stayed…it does not have elevator but we liked the stairs.
