Unacceptable hotel manner
Everything is good, except they didn't want to offer us free water on second day. As we did have one big bottle was free on our first day of arrival, just thought we would have another onr on second night. So we didn't buy any gor outside. The minbar for a water very tiny bottle is 3.5€, which is not a money issue, they sould alrrt us on first day in order to force us to take water from mini bar. Then we go down to reception for requesting, they did cfm us to offer free water finally, but didn't bring it to our room for more than 30 min. We have to go down reception again, and request to take it ourselves. They said they did deliver to wrong room number. It is unacceptable and ridiculous. This kind of service is really awful.

I want to know under what circumstance that expedia ranks it as a 5 star hotel. This hotel is as worse as a 3 star hotel, with a 5 star hotel price. This is definitely cheating. This is by far the worst 5 star hotel I have ever stayed with The hotel is extremely dirty, everything inside the room is insufficient and old. This is like a 1950 hotel, with no electrical appliances. There is even insufficient lighting. The coach and bed are full of bugs. I have numerous bug bites and even cause allergy to my skin and my lips. There is no air conditioning at night after 4:00 a.m. I have to order ice buckets to my room to lower the temperature. Even with that I cannot sleep the whole night. The bed blankets are old and dirty. The bed, which they claimed in King size, is so short that my feet are hang out of the bed. I am only 5 feet 10 inch tall I want to raise a complaint and I want my money back. I need to know how I can raise a complaint to your platform and to the hotel. I need someone from Expedia to contact me immediately

Dear Mr. Tsz King,Thank you for your honest feedback regarding your recent stay with us.We sincerely apologize any inconvenience or discomfort you experienced during your stay.It is important to note that the bed sizes can vary between countries and regions.In Portugal, a standard king-size bed typically measures 200X200 cm.We understand that this may differ from what you are accustomed to in your home country and we apologize for any confusion this may have caused.When you raised your concerns with our Front Desk Manager, he immediately proposed to change you to another suite, which you declined.Therefore, we conducted a thorough inspection of your room for any signs of bedbugs and I am pleased to inform that the inspection did not reveal any evidence of bedbugs.However, as a precautionary measure and to ensure your peace of mind, we replaced, both the mattress and bedboard at that time.Nevertheless, after your 4th night with us you decided to change to another hotel and we accepted immediately the modification of your reservation without any penalty.Once again, thank you for sharing and despite any challenges or setbacks during your visit to Lisbon, we sincerely hope that you still managed to enjoy the essence and beauty of our city.Best regards,Carina Mateus - Guest Experience Manager

This was a good hotel in terms of cleanliness and room size however it is not geared towards family stays, much more of a business or convention hotel with little in the way of facilities for family stays. The staff were very polite and helpful apart from in the small swimming pool area which is not designed for children and my son was given out to for making noise in the pool. The breakfast coffee needs to be improved.

If you want a star 5 property that has NO phone, computer, or any technology in your room and sit in a moldy sauna, as well as taking a taxi to go anywhere, and THEY WILL NEVER FILL your water in room like all the other hotels I stayed in Scotland and Spain that were 5 star hotels, and they wash your “cafe” cups in your sink by washing them literally in bathroom sink, and charge you for drinks you did not take (I got extra soda and water) Oh! It’s hot in your room (you can’t turn the AC down) if a 1985-1995 room is for you at their price, this is the hotel for you. I hated it. They also could have warned us that their military would be there and cut you off and watch every second. That was ridiculous.

Dom Pedro was a truly amazing experience - they exceeded all expectations. The Customer Experience Manager was awesome - Gold Member room upgrade, champagne and birthday cake for my wife's birthday, fresh fruit and chocolates every day, access to the VIP lounge, special offers for dining and the spa. Large room, top quality bedding and towels, bathroom accessories etc Highly, highly recommended

Gostaria de dizer que sou cliente do Dom Pedro e ainda gosto muito do hotel, mas já penso em mudar de hospedagem. Desde a 1a vez que me hospedei no D. Pedro, percebi uma falta de harmonia nos funcionários que cuidam do café-da-manhã (pequeno almoço). Nesta última estada, a mesma coisa, ainda pior. Por três dias consecutivos, sequer perguntaram o número do apartamento em que eu estava. Sequer serviram propriamente o café na mesa (eu mesmo tinha que pegar a garrafa de café para servir a mim e à minha esposa). Como se não bastasse, os alimentos que pedíamos quase nunca vinham, ou demoravam para vir, ou vinham incompletos. A impressão que tive é que, apesar do esforço de alguns em bem servir, a chefe dos garçons trabalha de relativo mau humor, o que talvez cause desarmonia nos serviços do resto da equipe. No apartamento, no último dia, tivemos que pedir para reporem a caixa de lenços, item básico no banheiro. No acesso à sala VIP, quase nunca tinha qualquer comida disponível, somente água e refrigerantes....Tal situação, por sua vez, destoa totalmente do staff dos serviços de balcão, recepção e garagem, que são muito educados, atenciosos e realizam o serviço de forma impecável. Parabéns a estes.

Es un hotel de decoración muy clásica, bien conservado. El trato ha sido exquisito. Room was nice. Staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast offered for $19 euros was fantastic. My only complaint was the heat in the room was ridiculous and the a/c was switched off so we couldn’t cool the room.

Please allow us to assure you that this unpleasant occurrence does not reflect our usual standards, actually these incidents have become an unfortunate challenge in various parts of Europe and we are not exempt from this concern.We have been awarded with the "Clean & Safe" certification by "Turismo de Portugal", the Portuguese National Tourist Office.This certification is a testament to our dedication to upholding strict rules and rigorous measures set by this organization.Therefore, our mattress maintenance program includes regular cleaning and sanitization procedures specific to our sector and additionally, mattresses that have reached the end of their lifespan are promptly replaced.We take this matter very seriously and we are continuously working to enhance our procedures to prevent any such issues from happening again. We would like to emphasize how important your comfort and contentment are to us and we hope that our gesture of goodwill demonstrated our dedication to your satisfaction.
