Cosy base for exploring Sintra

Rosa's cottage is cosy and homely, we recieved a warm welcome and complimentary wine and chocolates. The location is convenient to walk into Praia das Macas and easy to drive into Sintra. We had a lovely stay.

A começar pela simpatia e toda a disponibilidade da D. Rosa, até às condições, local, limpeza, tudo estava impecável! É uma casa muito acolhedora com um excelente espaço exterior para fazer uma bela refeição ao ar livre, ao mesmo tempo que se aproveita e se dá uns belos mergulhos na piscina. Para quem tem bebés a D. Rosa proporciona berço, banheira, cadeira de papa, toalhas, etc. o que é óptimo pois, para nós papás, não temos de nos 'preocupar' com estas coisinhas! Voltarei sem dúvida :)

Great stay!

We had a great time at Praia das Macas. Rosa was so warm, friendly and helpful and the property great we will definitely be back. Great location. We walked to the big beach with the kids to bodyboard each day, then back to the pool. It's cheap to get a taxi or Uber to Sintra to see the Pena Palace but go early. The cottage was fully equipped to enable you to eat in and Rosa stocked the cupboards with essentials such as coffee and even wine. A big bowl of friut awaited us on arrival. You can walk to the local campsite shop to pick up groceries or walk down to Praia Das Macas for local resturants and shops. Pool was also great. We will be rebooking.
