The staff make this place shine more than anything else. The rooms are clean and the simple food options they provide are perfect; fresh coffee, fruits, bread, jams and occasionally a baked offering would appear in the kitchen. A great place to stay if visiting Lisbon and i’ll definitely be back.

We really enjoyed our stay was greeted by a very friendly member of staff who was very kind gave us a tour of the place told us all the important information that we needed to know. It was just a great place to stay would highly recommend you can use the kitchen we had a lovely room the bed was so comfortable. A very nice and safe neighbourhood don’t forget the comfortable shoes you will need them. Overall we really enjoyed our time here 😊

The whole guest house is beautiful! Our room was very nice and the kitchen was big and well equipped to make a simple meal. The guests took turns making morning coffee for everyone!

Going back to House Sao Bento felt like going back home after a long day of exploration! Spacious room, comfortable bed and kitchen available for a quick coffee and breakfast. Location is remote enough to feel outside of the tourist trap but close enough thanks to the 28 tram that runs nearby. Highly recommend !

The hosts provided an amazing atmosphere and a beautiful, clean accommodation! There was a shared kitchen which was impeccably clean and had everything one might need and some goodies on top. The room was beautiful and also really quiet despite being in the city centre, making it the perfect place to relax after a busy day and night out in Lisbon

The property is located in the historic district of Lisbon, with 28E and other buses literally at the door. We are avid walkers/runners, and it took us less than 20 minutes to get to Tagus River for a scenic walk or run. Estella Basilica and Jardim Estrella are a short stroll away. Pedro was very kind to deliver adaptors on the evening we arrived after I sent a last minute “help please” email. The staff made our 7-day stay comfortable. Highly recommend this place.

Excellent accommodations

I had the room with a private bath. The room was large and bright, nicely decorated, bed was comfortable, and the private bathroom was newly renovated. Carolina the host was was very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent. The whole place was very clean. A fairly quite street, but easy walking distance to several great neighbourhoods.

Exceptional guest house in Lisbon

Amazing place to stay in Lisbon. It’s a guest house but they offer rooms with private bathrooms and the rooms are as comfortable and spacious as any hotel room. They have a big kitchen where you they offer plenty of breakfast items free of charge. The location is prefect. Just few steps from tram 28 that takes you everywhere in the old town. And less than 2 minutes away from Preco- a big grocery store. Would definitely stay there again next time I’m in Lisbon. Ten out of ten

All the comforts of home. They offer some free snacks, coffee, tea etc...a nice place to eat, sit etc... they held my luggage fore while I walked the Camino and were available to help with suggestions around Lisbon. Nice and friendly
