Wonderful stay in the Bario Alto! We’ve visited Lisbon before and stayed in the Alfama but always ended up in the BA so this time we decided to stay where we enjoyed the most the last visit. Pedro’s accommodation did not disappoint. Great location, comfortable accommodation, and Pedro was a wonderful host. Thanks!

Prima verblijf, alles was keurig schoon keuken perfect ingericht. De eigenaar gaf uitstekend informatie en was erg behulpzaam. De slaapbank is een beperking, maar dat wisten we vooraf. De open verbinding door de trap tussen de woonkamer/slaapkamer is beperkend voor de privacy.

We stayed with our 3 kids and it was more than enough space with the pullout couch. The apartment was immaculate and we were greeted by family of the host. She was so sweet and showed us around the whole apartment. The location and view were absolutely amazing! We were able to walk to many locations and enjoyed coming back to our quiet street in the evening. One of our favorite parts was watching cats on the roof at night! There is a fully stocked kitchen and washing machine. The “master” bedroom is a loft. There are two twin beds in a very big bedroom and a pullout in the living room. We were gone all day and it was a wonderful clean space to come home to. Drinks in the evening were perfect on the balcony along with a pastrami sandwich from the restaurant next door. Overall Great host, great stay.

This apartment is so nice and so clean! Fully equipped! Very quiet location close to all of the sights and a very close walk to Tram 28 stop. Would definitely stay here again! Hosts were great to work with.

This place was everything we were looking for. The place itself was clean, well maintained and so full of character. The bedrooms were comfortable and clean. One with a balcony with a wonderful view. The kitchen was well equipt and included a washing machine. The hosts were gracious and genuine. The famous #28 trolly line is a block away. As are local small business's including quaint restaurants and coffee shops, as well as small markets. It's a wonderful base to explore Lisbon. Highly recommended!

We stayed 2 nights and the apartment was perfect. Everything was clean, very nicely decorated and just as advertised. The location was perfect! Many shops and restaurants in the neighborhood and the tram stop was a block away. Pedro and his family were very accommodating, and even offered a late checkout if we needed, because the apartment was not rented that night.

We had an amazing stay! The house was clean and had all the accommodations we needed. A nice touch that i haven’t seen anywhere else was that they even had adapters for North American outlets. The hosts were very friendly and helpful whenever we had questions. Parking nearby was easily accessible and convenient as we had large suitcases. We would definitely book again!

We booked the place for 6, almost 6 months in advanced as part of our Europe road trip. However the host was very generous to accept 7 people, month before the date when we asked, at no additional cost.The host was also very kind to allow my mother who came to Lisbon by herself to join my family for the trip, to check-in as early as 9am, almost right after she landed. The apartment is clean, modern, well equipped and comfortable for all of us -- washing machine, cooking stove (we didn't cook, so not very sure about the utensils but it looked very complete in one glance), oven, hanging "line" at the balcony (no clips), air cons in all rooms ...The location is at the "border" of Chiado, further than this seems like way less at the center of actions -- restaurants, grocery, shops near by.It is on a one way narrow hilly road, so load/unload luggage will need to be fast as other car might be coming.The parking garage is just on top of the slope, like one minute walk. We took the car out on day two for a day trip to Sintra and came back with the parking garage full. So, do back up a second parking garage in your intenary.The apartment is on the 4th floor and no Netflix on the TV (my teens are always looking for this).The bathroom shower didn't drain very quick during our stay.

central Lisbon stay

Lovely apartment in the heart of medieval Lisbon. The communication was smooth and friendly, the apartment was clean and good to be in with a quirky character. There was lots of great cafes and restaurants to eat at and brilliant places to visit.
