Beautiful apartment very close to everything

We had a family vacation to Lisbon from the USA and were delighted to find this lovely apartment for our accommodations. The home was well appointed and laid out well. The courtyard was absolutely lovely and gave the kids in our group an area to play and adults an area to hang out in the evenings. The hosts were very easy to communicate with and made check-in and check-out super easy. I would highly recommend this place, especially if traveling with a group. Be warned - the hills are a killer on your legs (especially with luggage!) I'd recommend taking a car to a point above the house and walk down - it is much easier than being dropped at the bottom and walking up. When we entered the specific house address, most Ubers left us off at the bottom of the hill so we learned quickly to use a different address to get dropped off above.

Relaxing

This lovely older home is nicely appointed, full of charm, very spacious and most of all comfortable. It was lovely to be able to walk and explore the city and then come back to a space where we could just relax in comfort. If we were coming back to Portugal we would definitely stay here again.

Fabulous Lisboa

Fabulously home. We were a group of 11 family and friends and this home suited us very well. Indoor and outdoor areas and very well appointed, nothing was missing. Great location and great hosts.

Awesome location and space

Great experience with Luis. Very smooth check-in and super flexible on check-in timing. The property is very spacious with an excellent well stocked kitchen. We loved the location and found it easy to get around town. The neighborhood is residential and restricted. So a taxi is key versus Uber as they have the ability to access the area and get you right to the front door. While the home was totally refurbished in 2017 a couple of things would benefit from an update:1) The couch was well used and lacked support in some seating.2) The small bath off the kitchen lacks an exhaust fan and mildew is an issue.3) The home is very well constructed so airflow is a challenge and one must keep windows open to promote airflow.4 The outdoor grounds are very cool with nice lighting but are in need of some attention.We rated this property very high because everything else was simply spectacular.

Perfect stay in Lisbon

The property is very well maintained and clean. Great location in charming neighborhood and parking is available a short distance from property for those with cars. Very comfortable common areas and a beautiful private courtyard. Luis was easy to coordinate with and was quick with responses. You won’t be disappointed.

Great stay

I was very happy that we were greeted by the owners. They showed us what to do and what not to do. Very easy check in and for those other folks who may be worried about the air-conditioning and WIFI. Don't worry- it was perfect. Love the backyard and closeness to everything delightful in Portugal. Owners were super helpful and gracious. Will definitely stay again. Dave & family & friends

Un trésor bien caché

Très bel appartement bien situé tout proche de la ligne de tramway. La cour intérieure est définitivement un plus. Cuisine fonctionnelle et espaces communs aérés. Les hôtes sont réactifs et aidants.

Incredible!!!

The is completely updated, clean, easy to access and in a wonderful location. It is quite spacious and comfortable. This is the perfect property families (we had 9) or larger groups. It is located just a short walk from many bars, restaurants and shops. The yard is truly an oasis. As great as the property is on its own, what makes it even more special are Luis and Rita. Two of the nicest, most helpful hosts you could ever want. They such nice people. We give both the hosts and the property the highest recommendations.

Great house, great host

For me and my family of 8, including 3 children under 2, this was a great experience. The house is very clean and well furnished and equipped. Nice courtyard for the kids. No steps or elevators to deal with. Good location with everything you need close by. I can't say enough good things about the host Luis. Very attentive to our needs. In fact after I locked my packpack and passport in the house on the day we were leaving , he came promptly to unlock the door and actually drove me to the airport. You can't go wrong staying in this house.

Comfortabel huis op loopafstand van bijna alles

Fijn contact met de host Luis, we mochten eerder inchecken en op de vertrekdag onze bagage stallen. Ook regelde hij taxi's voor ons, huis is in een restricted area, Ubers niet toegelaten. Prima bedden, smaakvol ingericht huis, fijne tuin. Er waren veel ventilatoren in t huis en geen airco's. In oktober niet nodig maar vermoedelijk behoorlijk warm in de zomer. Wij waren met 9 volwassenen en dat was prima. Stapelbedden alleen de onderste gebruikt en het queensize bed voor één persoon, want stond tegen de muur aan.

Lovely Lisbon Apartment

My friends and I had a very enjoyable stay at this apartment. We were able to walk everywhere. It's just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of busier streets to enjoy some quiet time. There were 7 adults in my group, and there was plenty of space. The courtyard outside was an added bonus. If the weather was better, we would have spent more time out there. The host was very responsive as well.

Charming Lisbon Oasis

This lovely home was a perfect retreat from the busy busy Lisbon scene. Quiet and restful after days of sightseeing with a lovely private yard, comfortable living and dining areas for our multigenerational family of 7. Very clean, nice linens and towels and conveniently located near several restaurants and a little waterside park with music which was fun and festive at night. Our host gave us great directions, greeted us upon arrival and scheduled taxis for us for the airport when we left which was most appreciated.

Luis has a lovely house in a great location! Restaurants close buy- everything you need & he was very responsive whenever I needed a taxi… only omission was a washer/Dryer on site but close but if needed. Highly recommend the host & house

Clean and comfortable in Santa Caterina

Our family of 9 enjoyed every aspect of our stay but most particularly being able to use the courtyard - ball games with the children, pre-dinner drinks and dinner outside in the cool of the evening. The kitchen was extremely clean and very well equipped. Communication with Luís was excellent and we appreciated his helpfulness. Thanks for a great stay!

A Gem in the heart of old town Lisbon

Delight was our first impression of this lovely place. Luis was so very helpful and we are grateful for his patience. OUr flight from Madeira was canceled and we had to scramble for another flight, losing a day in Lisbon. We finally got another flight out but ended up getting to Lisbon after midnight. Lisbon and Rita were so gracious to wait up for us. We loved the house and all the amenities were perfect! Beds were comfy and cloud-like pillows helped us feel so cozy. The courtyard was a huge plus and allowed us to be outside and still have privacy! This place is really wonderful!!

Gorgeous home in great location

We were a group of 6 women traveling throughout the Algarve, Sintra and Lisbon. We were so fortunate to find this vacation rental in the heart of the Chiado district of Lisbon! This lovely home is beautifully appointed, very large, with plenty of space to feel comfortable in a large group, a fully stocked kitchen, a welcoming patio for morning coffee and within easy walking distance of shopping, restaurants, coffee shops and all this area of Lisbon has to offer. Luis was very accommodating to our needs, including arranging for taxis (very early in the morning) for transport to the airport. Check in was easy and correspondence was excellent. Highly recommend!
