Great house!

Nice place to stay in Colares. It's good to have a car to go to restaurants and the grocery store. The walk to Colares is on narrow roads, straight downhill and what goes down, must come up! That said, this is a great place to hang out and have a peaceful, enjoyable vacation.

Praia das Macas

This place is a must. After sightseeing all day, and the hills, there’s nothing like a good soak in the hot tub. More than enough bedrooms and bathrooms. Jorge was exceptional and made it very easy to check in and would be there for anything you might need or to ask. I can’t say enough about this place. If you’re looking, rent it. You won’t be let down.

Convenient Location to Sintra, Seaside Town, and Beach

We enjoyed our stay in small seaside town of Prais das Macas. The house was a short walk away from restaurants, playgrounds, the beach, and all the things our family needed. We appreciated having ample nearby parking as well. The layout of the house suited our family of 7 (grandparents, daughter and husband, and 3 young grandchildren) well. The kids especially loved the bedroom and play area on the lower floor and being able to play soccer on the terrace while the adults enjoyed local beverages on the bright patio, Jorges was the perfect host and was so responsive to any questions we had in planning our stay or upon arrival. We know once he completes his renovation of the rooftop area, the views will be spectacular. We were just unlucky in not being able to enjoy it on this trip. So now we have a reason to come back!. Thanks for a great stay in Colares!
