Pleasant for a short stay

Reception staff were lovely and very helpful. The room was pretty basic, kitchenette although no tea cups, no air con, small shower and shower head was broken it dribbled water constantly so we had to leave a towel to stop the sound. The hotel is based in an extremely quiet area so if you’re looking for nightlife or a tourist area this is not the place for you! We stayed for 3 nights which in this particular area was enough. View from balcony was lovely - overlooked the pool area and had a sea view. Pool was very large and clean with a water slide and a poolside bar. Best to pre-book a taxi as it cost €84 one way using the airport taxi but only €57 when pre-booking.

Don’t stay here. Nasty!

This place is a dump. Do not stay here, and don’t trust the reviews that say otherwise! This place might have been great in the 90s, but that’s the last time anything was maintained and/or cleaned thoroughly. Our first room was dark and filthy, and located on the maintenance side of the property. So we went to the front desk to ask to get moved since most rooms were sitting empty. The second room was just as bad. Shower doors were falling off and the shower head was broken. The wooden closet smelled like it had been generously sprayed with fungicides, so we kept the windows open all day and all night. I swept the floor and picked up piles of hair and dirt. So nasty. Pillows were home made lumpy mystery bags and the mattress was easily from the 80s. The pool area is gross and falling apart. Looks like a hepatitis breeding ground. I repeat: Do not stay here.

La zona es súper tranquila,muy buena carretera hasta Sintra,en frente hay un mercado local con productos de la zona.Andando hay varios restaurantes y terrazas.Parking privado gratuito,la piscina de agua salada está genial,aunque sea pública no está para nada masificada.A 5 minutos en coche un supermercado continente.La atención de recepción excepcional.Varios sitios de interés a mínutos en coche.Para nosotros familia de 4 personas un acierto.

Apartamento muito espaçoso, limpo e confortável, com cozinha equipada. Corresponde bem às fotos e descrições. Há um Continente Bom Dia na mesma rua. Alguns detalhes negativos: no quarto há apenas uma tomada; na pia do banheiro não havia água fria, apenas muito quente (mas na pia da cozinha há ambas); quando chegamos havia uma toalha pendurada atrás da porta do banheiro.

Les photos de la description d’expedia ne sont pas à jours ce qui crée une très grande déception. Besoin de rénovation majeure. Trop cher payé pour l’état des lieux. Désuet, vieille hotel de type appartement qui date des années 80 avec le même cachet !!! Piscine avec eau verte et peinture décapée par le manque d’entretien.

Good facilities

Overall there was no issues on our stay however, when we initially entered the room the first impression was "this is tiny!" So pictures were quite deceiving. Putting that aside the general facilities and staff attitude was great. Going forward I'm 50/50 whether I'd go there again but if I do I think it would be for the staff and facilities and not the room itself

Reception staff really friendly and helpful. Upgraded from studio to apartment so very grateful but whilst meticulously clean, the apartment and whole complex needs modernizing as its age showing as looking tired and too many botch up jobs ie. Tape around cracked unit, leaking loo and mattress on its last legs and no bounce. Paid fair price as out of season but folk might be disappointed paying full price.

É um apartamento simples e antigo. As roupas de cama e toalhas estavam muito limpas mas os colchões não eram os melhores. É um lugar muito bonito e tranquilo. O horário de check inn é 16h, o que não é bom. As piscinas podiam ser melhor cuidadas. Apesar de tudo, foi uma boa estadia porque eu já sabia que seria assim. Não houve surpresas.

Þegar við komum vorum við ekki sérlega kát með að sundlaugin var tóm og ekki áætlað að opna fyrr en 1 júni. Viðmót starfsfólkssins, þrif og öll þjónusta bætti það svo sannarlega upp. Okkur var boðið annað hótel og önnur sundlaug til afnota sem við afþökkuðum . Þetta er æðislegur staður og stutt í allt sem þarf. Takk fyrir okkur og við erum staðráðin í að koma aftur þegar allt er í blóma. Annað sem mig langar að minnast á . Þegar ég er búin að bóka 10 nætur hjá ykkur , á ég þá ekki að eiga inni eina frínótt. Ef þið getið vil ég biðja ykkur að skrá það á síðuna mína ef ég hef klúðrað því sem er ekki ólíklegt haha. Well placed accommodation in sweet beach town

We enjoyed our stay in Praia de Macas, the sea was beautiful and there were nice cafes and restaurants in the town. The host at the accommodation was incredibly kind and helpful in advising us how to get around and things to see. She made our visit very easy. The accommodation was clean and located very close to the beach. Unfortunately as it was May the pool wasn’t quite yet open so worth checking this before you stay. However they did kindly offer to let us swim at the sister hotel.

One night stay!

These apartments are quite dated but comfortable enough. The resort pools were drained for maintenance and there was no restaurant open. We had a slight view of the ocean from our balcony. Nearby was a touristy tram to Sintra.... good fun.... but be really careful of the times both ways as they vary for the season and the actual day of the week. All in all, the whole beach suburb seemed run down.

Infelizmente não tive uma boa experiência. No anúncio dizia ter pequeno-almoço incluído, o que não é verdade pois indicaram um mercado próximo para podermos comprar pão fresco... A nível de limpeza deixou a desejar pois tinha teias com aranhas, sanita suja com pêlos de utilizadores anteriores, cabelo no sitio onde os pratos estavam guardados... A minha experiência foi negativa

Great location next to the beach

First three nights we stayed in an appartment, nice balcony overlooking the pool area, 2 rooms, kitchen well equipped, then we had to move to a studio, that was under the swimming pool, not much of a view, only one room, no ventilation, only one window, that was a real down-grading (for the same price!) Very helpful receptionists (especially Pedro and Adelayde) they did everthing to help our car problem fixed, it needed several tel call to the rent a car company and insist. They also gave us good tips about the area, where to eat and where to go.

Winter slumberland

Overall a nice little place with pool and ocean views, but definitely seems more summertime oriented. It is in what we thought was quite a sleepy little area, in February. There was some confusion as they didn't have our reservation info from hotels.com despite having booked it 3 hours before. He checked all the emails again. They did honor the hotels.com price, however, and in the morning they said it came through in the middle of the night. It just delayed the check-in a bit. Their card reader wasn't working so I had to go to the ATM to pay the room. We were the only ones staying here this night, so we had the resort grounds all to ourselves and joked that we could have finished the album we are working on without disturbing anyone. Overall, despite some small hiccups with checkin, we liked it just fine.
