The property is historic so if you appreciate history you will love the hotel. It is beautiful, but old for example you open your door with a physical key. The room layouts are a little odd compared to how hotel rooms are laid out now. Overall I think it is a great hotel. If you opt to walk back to your hotel from dinner or being out some of the routes, I would suggest being more alert. It’s not unsafe but is quiet and dark. The staff was super helpful overall. I wish we had more time to take advantage of the hotel spa and restaurants.

We had a fantastic stay. The staff was amazing and the grounds are beautiful and well kept. The pool area has an amazing view and is perfect for an afternoon rest after walking the streets of Lisbon. Fantastic breakfast!!

The staff was very friendly and attentive. While there was ongoing construction, it had minimal impact to the ambiance. We would stay again.

Wonderful hotel in a great location. Beautiful rooms and view. I did experience noise ( from what I understood to be the patio above me) but my the comfort of the room made up for this. Whilst service isn’t personalized, staff are friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel.

We had a great stay in the penthouse two bedroom two bath. Perfect for our family. beautiful view of the city. It was an easy walk or tram ride down into the old part of town. Breakfast everyday at the hotel was amazing.

Our stay was wonderful. The funicular is literally next door, and it allows for wonderful dinner options at the bottom of the hill. The staff was exceptional. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We even got upgraded to a room with a view. Will definitely stay here again.

Loved my time at the Palace

I wouldn't change a thing. The staff were very accommodating and paid attention to detail. The room was as advertised and the restaurants were fantastic. Don't get me started on the views!
