The property was very contemporary and had a great look and feel. Nicely modern and felt new in a great old building, excellent use of space and very quiet location, aside from a neighbour's dog that barked a lot on a couple of nights. The beds, bedding and towels didn't feel the same quality as the rest of the apartment, and the sheets on the single bunk bed seemed to be for a double bed. The location is quiet and great for enjoying Barrio Alto, and within walking distance of a lot of the main places worth seeing, if you don't mind tackling Lisbon's hills. Great workout, and certainly helps justify an extra pastel de nata, or two. Taxis were a bit reluctant to come right up to the property door, mostly due to the really narrow old streets around this part of Lisbon, but they dropped us a short walk from the apartment, which was no problem. Great apartment, would definitely recommend it.

This was a cozy space for sure… lacking in some amenities, but not many: needs more ways to make coffee/tea, coffee machine used pods which made an awful cup of coffee and only three coffee pods were left for a five day stay; lack of toilet paper and paper towels, as well as towels for bathing and hand towels. We contacted host who was apologetic and delivered more.. except for towels. Great iron, beds cozy. Close quarters with next apartment patio seen through small windows, could smell cigarettes coming through and chatter when they were out there. This place is at the “top” … get ready to walk down, down, to shopping and water, which allowed us to see so much that we would of not seen if we stayed closer to the water. Then once you’re down.. you need to walk up, up and up!
