House is in a great location. Very large with enough room for everyone to relax and enjoy. First trip to Portugal and couldn't have imagined a better stay! Perfect house

Great experience

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. The house is in a great location... away from hussle-bussle of the big city. Great place if you are looking to relax and be closer to nature. Lots of great places to visit nearby. The two has some great coffee shops, restaurants etc. The house itself was quite big and spacious. Ideal if you have a big group 6-8 people.

First Experience of Portugal

From initially booking to landing back in the UK the communication with the owner has been perfect. The attention to detail to ensure our stay was everything you would want, was perfect. The property itself is excellent, located perfectly for the local town, shops and bars/ restaurants and only a short taxi ride to the coast or to Sintra to satisfy some exploration, shopping and some great sights and places to eat. Facilities at the property are excellent and overall cannot fault the holiday. Would recommend this place without hesitation

The perfect Summer getaway

We spent one week here (with 3 teenagers 15-17-18) in July. The house and the property was amazing! Very clean, spacious, quiet and private. The garden was beautiful with a large pool and the property had its own tennis court.Just a few minutes walking to a local super market and a small cafe. Within 10 minutes drive, you could reach the fantastic beaches and with very good restaurants where you could watch beautiful sunsets while eating dinner.The owner was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely want to come back!

Perfect family villa that feels like a home

The host was most welcoming & helpful. The villa was clearly a much loved family home now shared with visitors. The pool garden tennis courts and games room mean children & adults are always entertained. The garden is very well maintained. Ample secure parking. The kitchen is one of the best equipped for those who love to cook that we have ever experienced and the local produce is a joy to create beautiful dishes which you can enjoy inside or out! Cook on the great range or outdoors on the built in poolside BBQ. There is space for the family to be together or be apart. Good WiFi and TV. This quiet villa is well served by public transport and taxis are relatively cheap by European standards. Local restaurants are good and local supermarket very well stocked with great produce. Colares is well placed to visit the many beautiful & historic destinations in this area. We loved our stay and would happily return.

Excellent stay with family!!The whole villa was excellent from the moment we arrived. Pool, game room, tennis court, were all made the most of to keep us entertained when not out and about exploring the beautiful surroundings. Communication with José was prompt and very helpful when needed. It was one of our best holidays and will definitely recommend to everyone wanting to go to Portugal!

Family vacation!

You could not pick a more perfect spot for a family vacation in Colares. Our family enjoyed hours at the pool, trips to the beach, Sintra and Cascais, not to mention the fun spots for dinner and drinks. Jose was a gracious host who met us when we first arrived. He made sure we had everything we needed. Walk to town, grocery in walking distance, and plenty of space for all 7 of us.

Beautiful villa

Beautiful villa supplied with everything you could want or need. Fantastic pool and entertainment area. Comfortable, clean beds. Well equipped kitchen. Beautiful well kept gardens. Mini-mart short walk away, half hour walk to beach or regular bus service. Host made it very easy with good communication and check-in/out. Really enjoyed our stay here and was sorry to leave.

Amazing location and very friendly owners

We had a great time in Colares, the inside is not “modern” but is very clean and has everything you need and the exteriors are gorgeous (can’t beat the tennis court and swimming pool). 2 min away is a good local supermarket and the sea is 5 min away. The owners were very easy to reach and shown us around. They were also very helpful for any ask we had I would recommend spending time there anytime! Thanks for everything
