Wonderful time for our group of 8. Our only complaint would be the dampness in the bedrooms. Everything always felt damp. Hard to get laundry to dry. But everything else was perfect…our kids LOVED it. They said it was the highlight from our trip to Portugal!

We had a lovely 10 night stay at You and the sea. Apartments are huge! We had an 2 bed and there was loads of space, which was great. All the staff were excellent and tend to every need. We booked surf lessons through the hotel which were great as well. Great facilities for adults and kids. Short work to South Beach which was lovely and generally quiet until late afternoon when the locals came down. Walkable distance into Ericeira, but Uber taxi is cheap alternative. Loads of great beaches a short driver away. Only gripes were: Wi-Fi in room was poor, noise travels through the hotel so you do hear doors closing etc. and the breakfast wasn’t to our taste but we only ate there once. Also our balcony was very small and didn’t catch much sun, would advise asking for a south facing room or a balcony with good sun coverage. TBH these didn’t spoil our trip at all and would stay here again and again.

The hotel building itself is excellent. The rooms are modern and spacious, the facilities are overall very good, and it’s in a great location. But for the money, the staff are woefully inept and undertrained, and this spoilt the whole experience for us. The first day was ruined by the multiple ways in which they messed up the car rental, resulting in two expensive taxi rides, only one of which they offered to pay for. Multiple times I had to point out the Turkish bath timer had turned off. The restaurant staff knew nothing about the menus (neither the food nor the wine), which resulted in confusion and mistakes every time we ate. We were only there for four days, but by the end we were looking for any excuse to get out of the hotel to avoid any more debacles. Thoroughly disappointed with the whole experience. Fixing the issues above would turn it into a real gym, but as it was, we feel ripped off considering how much we spent.
