"Beautiful scenery. Hotel A bit run down. No fridge or safe box in the room. Our room was on the top floor with a spiral staircase and although a staff member helped carry the suitcase up there was no one to bring it down for us. My 12 year old daughter and I had to carry 2 heavy suitcases down the stairs ourselves. "

"The property said the check-in was open until 22:00, but when we arrived at 20:00, we had to look around to find someone. The description said their bar was open until later, but we were told it was unavailable when we checked in. Our room was in the basement of a dusty inn with ill kept carpets, and the shared bathroom had mildew in the grout tiles. The shared kitchen had very noticeable stains on the appliances. We felt uncomfortable and slightly unwelcome. "

"Manager and staff are very friendly and enjoyable to talk with. I have been staying at this hotel for over 15 years. It’s close to central Hillerod by foot where you can find the Toyal summer palace and a few great restaurants. Highly recommend "

"Staff was friendly and accommodating. We came in very late and they made arrangements for us to get our room key quickly and without complications. The hotel is historic so it is not new but is well kept. The beach walk/ trail is fantastic with incredible views. Would recommend and would return. "
