The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked. The man at checkin was pleasant On the down side, the tv did not work, the furniture was old and knocked about, there was no light bulb in one of the bedside lights, the towels were very thin, one of the pillows was dirty, the inside of the jug was dirty, there was no soap

We were given a smokers room although we were non smokers. It had been sprayed and cleaned with a bleach substance so strong that it took the breath and left me with respiratory issues for several days. There were 2 chairs in the room. One had a broken leg. The lock on the door was dodgy possibly as a result of having been forced at some time. We have stayed at this motel before quite happily but won't in the future

Curtains we’re broken microwave didn’t work kettle worked when it wanted shower shelf broken air conditioning broken no cups or bowls Felt unsafe as drug users and terrible smoke smell my feet were black from carpet. Feel bad giving this review stayed for three days and moved next door to Karinga which is very clean.

Beda and linen filthy, where am i meant to sleep!
Absolutely feral. Nothing is clean. Hair everywhere. Pilllows and stains everywhere. This is beyond digusting. I will be making a huge complaint to the department!

No one present when we arrived. We had paid online for an executive room and were put in an ordinary room - this was rectified. No toilet paper in the room. I think the young man running it needs a lot more experience. No apology. Maintenance is required on door locks. - RP7.

Curtains dont cover entire window .. passers by able to see in. AirCond missing parts and is positioned so you can only have it blowing straight down on you. Coffee xcups and bathroom benchtop not cleaned properly. NO REMOTE !!!for the TV. The buttons are all on the tv so you have to get out of bed to change channels volume or switch off. Wont be using that one again.

Cleanliness of the room was very disappointing as there was a head band on the floor the linen was stained and the bathroom tiles broken shower stall dirty and no cups or glasses in room and no batteries in tv remote.

The room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, despite being a non-smoking room. Even the bedding smelled of cigarettes. The bathroom was dirty. It was mostly quiet except some loud shouting and swearing on one occasion from another guest at 3am.

The room was filthy. We couldn't sleep in the bed as the blankets were dirty. We had a family deluxe room with no hand towel, 1 bowl for breakfast. Not enough cutlery. Place smelt very damp. Noisy neighbours all night. Pretty sure drug addicts staying there.

Well, I was quite disappointed, the room smelled like mould the moment I walked it. And there were two visits from the police to the property in the 2 days that I stayed there. First for an abusive/domestic issue and second because another occupant robbed the room 2 doors from mine. I didn’t feel safe there. Very disappointing stay.

No one was there for check in and a phone call went to message bank so a bit frustrating. We also weren’t warned that the road would be closed on Sunday making it difficult to get out. Clean and tidy, but there was a lack of staff on site when needed.

Within close flat walking distance to the Lismore CBD, cafes and clubs. My room was a reasonable size with a comfortable bed, good sized fridge, microwave, TV & wifi connections. The shower / ensuite was a good size and had received a good bleach treatment prior to my use, which I assume is to meet COVID requirements. The strong smell was removed upon using the shower. Overall good value for money, though there were some occasional late night noise issues, last for only a few minutes on both nights of my 2 night stay, but occurred from different room guests.

The room was NOT as pictured on Motel site, we were deceived. We had no lamps, no phone, stained towels, fresh stains on Queen doona cover, toothpaste in bathroom sink, old toilet seal on floor under toilet. We found an old wooden picture and an empty flute case under single bed, they had been there for quite some time too. The room was disgusting. I'll never book with these people again! Seriously do yourselves a favour, stay elsewhere!

The property is quite old and run down. Masks were mandatory indoors and the person at the front counter didn’t have his mask over his nose.

I liked how the acting manager fixed up my mistake that i made on line with the wrong dates. She was very helpfull and kind. But i didnt like how i was going to be charged extra because of the mistake. Had a month to cancel it and you did say no charge if i cancelled befire a certain date. Also the room was ok bed was nice and cmfy but bathroom was very small.

Very, very soft matress! I sunk right down into it. Didn't have shampoo or conditioner, but had body wash & liquid hand soap. Was clean and comfortable, good location close to everything I needed, yet was nice & quiet.

Dear Guest. I think there is always a natural procedure that it takes 1 minute to get hot water in the tap. Because if it is unused then remaining water in the pipe gets cool down. So it is always there even in homes also. For summer reasons, it is across the world procedure that you put sheets on beds and extra blankets if you feel while using AC in the room. That is what facility we have in every room. Rather than putting Anonymous review, i would appreciate if you let us know, what room number you were in. So that we can assess our mistake. Anyway please accept our apologies if you have been uncomfortable. We are really looking forward to welcoming you back to our motel and make sure that you get much and more comfort next time.. Good location, nice clean comfortable room,
Located in Lismore’s main street opposite the Memorial Baths and easy walking distance to the shops, restaurants, rsl club, pubs and parks. The rooms are set back from the road so that helps keep street noise to a minimum. Spacious clean room, comfortable bed, and nicely presented room. Made feel welcome on arrival and very helpful when needed. Reasonably price with good value for money.

If you are sure it is a terrible place please let us know the reasons so that we can rectify all those mistakes for every ones comfort. Otherwise as usual out of any rage if you are writing review as an Anonymous guest then it means you didn't stay here or definitely you will come back because we charge lowest in Lismore. We have seen people writing remarks like this but then still come & stay at our place. So i request you to let us know when did you stay here and what room number. So that we fix all those problems. Place looks very old and tired from the outside. No one was at reception for check in when I arrived and I had to call the number on the door to be signed in and allocated a room. Driveway access and carpark are incredibly old style and poky - just getting your car into the carpark was a challenge in itself - far too small. Room was exactly what I expected of an older style motel, but it was clean and the bathroom recently renovated. Way too expensive for what you get when you consider you can stay at a 5 star resort on the Gold Coast for less. TV switched on but then refused to change channels or adjust volume. Doubt I'll ever stay again as I think tere must be nice options in Lismore - this was a last minute choice and I was out of options.

Please note, staying in 5 Star in Gold Coast must know that you coming to regional town and then looking for economical stay. All regions have their own value and place. Please don't compare.
