"This is a fantastic brand new property overlooking the main square. It is modern and luxurious with a beautiful large terrace with comfortable seating. The square and surroundings are full of restaurants and shops and some great Greek bakeries. They will even provide laundry service for a reasonable price. "We had a wonderful stay in the ground-floor studio at Ballas Apartments. The courtyard is amazing, and the views looking across Agia Effimia harbour are absolutely incredible. Stavros was an exceptional, genuinely helpful host who went above and beyond at all times to ensure we had the best holiday. Location-wise, it’s ideal—we easily drove to Assos and Fiskardo in around 40 minutes. The drive from the airport is straightforward, but a hire car is essential for exploring. Emelisse Nature Resort

10/10 Excellent

"Hotel complex was beautifully presented and watching the sun set from the main pool/restaurant was amazing. Our room was modest, but nicely furnished. Our only real issue all stay was a tardy response to requests. Not quite 5 star level. We asked about extending our stay and they finally replied at 11:30pm, by ringing our room and waking us up. Very peculiar and unprofessional! Fiskardo is a sensational base from which to explore. The harbour is so picturesque. We enjoyed a day trip to Vasiliki."

"We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel. The setting is stunning and the extensive grounds offer plenty of space to relax and sunbathe.Everything felt peaceful and well maintained we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again . The only small downside was that we found the drinks at the bar expensive , but this didn’t detract from our overall experience."

"The hotel is clean and in a quiet place with outstanding views over the bay. The staff iare lovely and welcoming , who were really friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We loved this hotel so much we stayed for a second night in a pool villa which I would definitely recommend doing. We come back to this hotel in a heartbeat and would recommend it to others."

"Spacious and clean private space with excellent air conditioning. A nice outdoor area, with a beautiful resident white cat (please consider giving her some treats, she's so lovely!) Quiet and peaceful setting behind a bigger hotel. A very nice shower with waterfall and detachable heads. The only issue was the WiFi not reaching the property, but this probably helped me enjoy the local area more. It's a short 10 minute walk into the centre, where there are plenty of supermarkets, restaurants, coffee bars, pharmacies, etc. If you're flying in and not planning to explore much, get a taxi to Argostoli and catch the ferry rather than hiring a car. It's quicker and much cheaper. "
