“Das Haus liegt in einem ruhigen und grünen Tal. Ideal um einen entspannten Urlaub zu verbringen. Wenn man Kreta ohne Touristenmassen erleben möchte, ist das Haus ideal. Nach kurzer Fahrzeit ist man an den Schnorchelstränden bei Paleochora oder Sugio. Aber auch Wanderungen (Höhle der 99 Väter!) sind in der Nähe möglich. Das Haus selber ist umwerfend. Es gibt mehrere Balkone und Terassen, auf denen man im Schatten speisen und die beeindruckende Aussicht ins Tal geniessen kann. Dank der Pflege der……

“We stayed at The Goatshed during the off season. Lots of rain ( even a "named" storm ) during our stay, and still it was absolutely magical. Everything we hoped it would be ! The villages in the area had lovely tavernas and incredible bakeries as well as grocery stores well stocked with everything you need. I spent a morning sipping coffee and listening to a Greek Orthodox memorial service being chanted nearby, another morning we watched the neighbors harvesting olive trees. The Goatshed itself……

“I had a wonderful stay in Ikaria. The house is very cozy and has a warm, welcoming atmosphere. You do need to adapt a little, as it’s a simple place with a few quirks, but that’s part of its charm — and the price is absolutely fair for what it offers.What really made my stay unforgettable was Evangelos and the local community. “The villa is beautiful and perfectly planned. The surroundings and views are spectacular. In mid october the pool was very cool (cooler than the Euboian gulf). Heating would have been very nice. The kitchen was well suited for cooking, but we missed a few utensils, for instance a pasta spoon. Also we had to buy toiletpaper, detergent and barbeque charcoal, which was difficult to find. The host had put a pet bottle of white wine on the table when we checked in. That was nice, but basic things……

“Falsche Angaben zum Zielort über Google Maps, brauchten Eskort von Einheimischen. Ansonsten zentrale Lage in einem ursprünglichen griechischen Dorf zu vielen Ausflügsmöglichkeiten. Großzügisches , aber sehr vollgestelltes Haus. Zuvorkommende Gastgeber und gute Küchenausstattung. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und haben uns wohlgefühlt. ”
