While some holiday rentals can feel sparse and functional, in contrast it is obvious that a lot of thought and care has been put into making the cottage feel like a home. "Lynda's accomodation is designed for both form and function. There's enough seating area outside for every type of weather. When it's sunny you can sit in front of the house or lie in the grass, when there's rain you can huddle inside or sit under the canopy. We had some trouble finding the accomodation, so make sure you double check the address beforehand, but Lynda was a dear guiding us there and was always available for questions during the stay. "We arrived after booking price of 157 pounds half board one night got there and had to pay 20 pounds for dog . . We checked our room no toilet seat lid discovered we had been put in the disabled room .wasn't happy . The main door that let us in to the building wouldn't lock so anyone could get in . We checked the pool out about 18.30 was due to close but on inspection the hot tub didn't work . I must say though the bar was good and food was fab . Not rushing back though ."

"For the price point you can’t go wrong . Parking is hit and miss ( random weekday was no problem ) but need to arrive close to check in or super late for a parking space on site. Lots of parking options nearby though ( Frankwell ) . Easy to check in at bar and the rooms are clean and well stocked ( tea tray / water / soap and towels ) Really homely feel and super friendly. If you’re a light sleeper bring ear plugs as you can hear the kitchen staff ( busy restaurant downstairs ) late into the night and early morning : along with other residents getting in and out of their rooms . Been here a few times and would come back. Lots of character and close to town."
