「Lovely hotel and very helpful staff. Excellent food. Disappointed with the spa facilities, certainly not luxury. Massage rooms were in a hut next to the swimming pool. You had to walk behind the reception desk and through the swimming pool to get there. There was no relaxation room. Enjoyed the massage but for the price I had hoped for some luxury and somewhere to lie down and chill afterwards. Also you have to go through the tiny gym to get to the hot tub and if someone is using the treadmill...

We selected this B&B due to proximal convenience to the local "Y Promenad" parkrun, just a few minutes walk away, which I visited to collect my "Y" as part of parkrun's alphabet tourism challenge. 「We had a great stay. Although our initial room was clean and well-maintained, it lacked WiFi access. However, the front desk staff was incredibly helpful and promptly moved us to a larger room with a fantastic internet connection. We were very pleased with the service. Additionally, there was sufficient parking available at the back of the property, and the complimentary breakfast offered a good selection of continental options along with made-to-order hot food. We truly enjoyed our time there!」

「Absolutely delightful hotel. Me and a friend booked a room each for the Hay Festival, and we couldn’t have been happier with our stay. The staff were wonderful; helpful, friendly, even showed us to our rooms. The location was great, not too far away but far enough that I’d was quiet and tranquil. The breakfast is well worth the money, as is the Old Barn pub across the road, where we ate that night. A fantastic stay, I can’t wait to return with my husband next time.」
