"The hotel is quite old, so there were many areas that needed fixing. For example, the room key was loose and did not work properly. If it is repaired well, I think it can continue to be a good hotel. The room was clean, and overall, it was decent."

"The Hotel is well located but there’s construction around it which causes lots of traffic to reach the hotel. Also there’s a nightclub on the street over facing the hotel and it’s very difficult to sleep , the music goes on until 5:00 am in the morning."

"Tuve una experiencia muy decepcionante y preocupante en UTOPIC Polanco by ULIV en Mexico City. Durante nuestra estancia, nos robaron dinero directamente de nuestra habitación, y no estaba simplemente dejado por ahí — estaba dentro de la caja fuerte cerrada con llave. Descubrir que algo así puede ocurrir en un lugar que supuestamente debería ser seguro es extremadamente preocupante. Lo que empeoró aún más la situación fue la total falta de ayuda por parte del personal y gerente (Christopher López). Cuando reportamos el incidente, fueron desinteresados y poco colaboradores. No hicieron ningún esfuerzo real por investigar lo sucedido ni por asumir alguna responsabilidad. Su respuesta nos hizo sentir que simplemente no les importaba. Las únicas personas que tenían acceso a la habitación eran empleados del hotel, incluido el personal de limpieza, lo cual hace la situación aún más alarmante. Los huéspedes deberían poder confiar en que sus pertenencias están seguras, especialmente cuando se guardan en una caja fuerte proporcionada por el hotel. Esta experiencia arruinó completamente lo que debía haber sido una estancia tranquila. Recomiendo encarecidamente a cualquiera que esté considerando hospedarse aquí que tenga mucho cuidado con sus objetos de valor o que considere alojarse en otro lugar. Muy decepcionante e inaceptable."

"My stay at this hotel was amazing. The staff was professional, helpful, and friendly —an exceptional experience. The concierge was very helpful providing excellent recommendations and great directions for getting around the city. The restaurant was great and had a nice selection of dishes; the food was delicious with perfect portions, and the waitstaff provided excellent service. The room I stayed in was very comfortable, clean, and well-maintained at all times, and had a spectacular view of Chapultepec Park. I would definitely return to this hotel on my future visits to Mexico City."

"This hotel was relatively cheap, however, there were stains all over the bed and carpet. The hotel did everything it could in offering the necessities however."

"Poor hygiene. Our bed hadn’t been changed. There were hairs everywhere, particularly when we pulled back the duvet. We complained. The lady changed the bedding but placed the disgusting bedding on top of my suitcase. I had to clean it myself afterwards. At breakfast we asked for tea a few times. The waitress ignored our request and chatted to staff. We booked a Junior Suite. The bathroom was tiny for a suite. This is more of a 2.5 star than 4 star as they advertise. I made a complaint asking for a refund but was offered an upgrade on my next stay. As if I’d ever think of staying here again. I’ve given two stars as the staff at the front of the hotel and the man making the eggs was very friendly and welcoming. Stay here if you like dirty bedding, poor service and a tiny bathroom."
