「A massive plus for this Hotel is the outlook and situation. We always love the views, whatever the weather, the operation of the little ferry across to Lismore. 「We stayed one night for our anniversary in the tower and it was magical! Beautiful views, lovely room, friendly staff, and gorgeous grounds to take walks. Food was exceptional and service was top notch without being stuffy. You won’t regret it and nothing since has matched the standard of service and elegance. 」

「Nice little inn with great dining options. Parking in back and short drive to Oban. Friendly staff. Clean and safe area 」

「The problem during our stay is the noise coming from the water tap of the shower, every time you turn on the water will have a very high pitch loud sound, not only from our bath room but also from the room next to you. The sound proof between rooms are also bad, you can easily hear people speaking in their room next to you.」

「My room provided was on the top floor, but there is no elevator. The woman who checked me in carried my big heavy suitcase all the way up the stairs. I'm so grateful for her help. I have some mobility issues with stairs. Everything else is super comfortable. Excellent water pressure, soft fluffy towels, big wonderful bed and bedding. 」

「The venue is up a gradual slope, being around a 10 minute walk from the town centre however the view of the harbour during the walk is beautiful. Being close to the pulpit hill viewpoint makes a nice trip being only a couple minutes walk from the venue. Carolyn was very welcoming and seeing me as a female sole traveler, made me feel very safe and gave me suggestions for the best places to visit. 「I loved the ‘old-world’ atmosphere and the attitude of trust placed in the guests. Our room was so quiet and peaceful. We dined in Markie Dans in the evening and I loved the friendliness, the food, and the toe-tapping Scottish music played by a young accordion player. I would highly recommend Corran House for your stay in Oban!」

「Lieu très calme et magnifique. Seul bémol pour s'y rendre il faut faire beaucoup de route ou prendre un ferry (12livres la traversée de 4 minutes). Les chambres sont spatieuses. L'espace cuisine communs aux autres voyageurs est très bien équipé. Le receptionniste est très gentil et arrangeant. Excellent séjour. Je reviendrai ici」

「They accommodated our group of four with one double bed and two single beds in the same room to avoid extra costs. I cannot say enough about the breakfast, which cost only 10 SBP per person. One hot menu choice and unlimited continental and drink choices included. I have found nowhere else that does that, at least on our Scotland trip. If your travels take you anywhere near Oban, book this hotel! 」
