De woning staat op een kleinschalig park. De dagelijkse gang van zaken is in handen van het kleine familiehotel wat erbij ligt. Medewerkers zijn ontzettend gastvrij en vriendelijk. Meer dan een pluim voor hun. Het huisje zelf ligt erg rustig. Je hoort alleen de kippen, varkens en kikkers. Wij vonden dit totaal niet storend, maar juist wel gezellig. Het huisje heeft wel wat verbeterpuntjes in onze optiek. De slaapkamer met badkamer ensuite beneden is open. Dus als je wilt douchen, wordt je partner automatisch wakker van het licht en het geluid. Daarnaast moet je de jaloezieën van het raam wel dicht doen, want anders zien de buren je vanaf buiten zo op de wc zitten of uit de douche stappen. Dus iets van klapdeurtjes of zo is misschien wel handig. Verder is het huisje qua keuken niet echt voor 6 personen ingericht. Bijvoorbeeld maar 3 grote theemokken, 4 eierdopjes, 4 schaaltjes voor yoghurt etc. Bedden zijn meer evenals de bank. Buiten ook ruim voldoende. Wat jammer is, is dat andere huurders (dus niet de verhuurder) blijkbaar niet de mooie weberbarbecue schoonmaken na gebruik. Idem geldt voor de eettafel buiten. Wat je gebruikt, maak je toch schoon zou je zeggen. Ik heb van mijn leven nog nooit zo’n dikke vette laag in een barbecue gezien. Het vet droop er overal vanaf. Maar na een ochtend flink poetsen en een nieuwe barbecuekrabber gekocht te hebben, durfde we het ’s avonds aan om zelf te barbecueën. En natuurlijk….. weer keurig daarna schoongemaakt. De tuin biedt trouwens, voor wie het kent, de perfecte afmetingen voor een spelletje kubb. Nog een ding voor de beheerders. De verwarming stond standaard op 24 graden. Vanwege de warmtepomp konden we deze niet lager zetten, dus we hebben het vooral ’s nachts vaak tropisch warm gehad.

Heel mooi huis, goed uitgerust. Wat kon beter? Tv kijken was gedoe en viel regelmatig uit. Informatie vanuit park ontbrak of klopte niet. Bijv over wifi netwerk en afval wegbrengen. Dienstverlening op het park had duidelijk te lijden onder personeelstekort.
