"The guesthouse and the host, Brian, were great. Due to a booking error, I was able to book the accommodation even though they were closed. Brian still gave us a warm welcome and upgraded our room free of charge. He gave us tips for a good restaurant and even made a reservation for us! The breakfast was delicious and lovingly prepared. We would definitely recommend this hostel; it was simply fantastic!"

"Absolutely perfect location, very scenic and quiet. The cabin was cozy, well equipped and the ideal base for exploration of the area. Bed was super comfy, had the best night's sleep and the shower blasted you awake for the day ahead. All in all a brilliant wee find and we'd definitely return. "Cruachan Holiday Home is a superb property for a vacation stay. The rooms are spacious and beautifully furnished with all the amenities required for a very very comfortable stay. The large property with its garden and the views are gorgeous. The property management was at all times very very responsive and helpful. This would be one of our top recommendations to anyone wishing to stay around Lochinver."
