“This was a lovely property. I purposely picked this guest house based on the other reviews but mostly because of the house itself, its history and location. The room was beautiful and updated with every amenity you could ask for. Elmira, our host, left traditional Scottish treats for us as a welcome which I thought was a special touch. She offered cleaning every day if we wanted but had plenty of towels and toiletries available so that service wasn’t necessary since we were out on tours and……

“We stayed in lodge 1, it is in serious need of some tlc and updating. The carpets, sofas should have been upgraded years ago, alongside the kitchen. Just a tired looking lodge now which is disappointing given the fantastic location. The pool is fab, and the Italian restaurant was lovely!”

“Very fun experience, the lady we checked in with was amazing! Very informative and just over all incredibly friendly! Only thing is the mattresses aren’t the comfiest but overall experience made up for that!”
