Fabulous Stay

The property was absolutely wonderful! The grounds and home were beautifulThe hosts: Angela and Vincenzo are amazing people! Angela would leave tortes or croissants in the morning and even hosted a pizza night. They gave us great recommendations for dining. We loved staying there and will definitely be back to stay again!

We had the most amazing time in this beautiful villa. The welcome we received and the generosity of the hosts, with amazing cakes & their incredible Pizza night were outstanding. The online photos does not do it justice. Very clean, great location, superb hosts. Always available to answer any questions. Kitchen was very well equipped. Washing machine, dishwasher. Everything you could want. If i was to think of anything to improve, the lining of the pool could possibly do with an update, but that didn't spoil our stay

Amazing property and fantastic hosts

Angela and Antonio were fabulous hosts of this beautiful property. They were incredibly helpful and responded right away to our requests. We were warned that staying in the area without our own car was not advisable. However, the hosts were able to connect us with a wonderful car service that exceeded our expectations. The special touches, like freshly baked desserts and a memorable pizza night, just made our stay that much more enjoyable.

Beautiful home, fabulous hosts.

Fantastic holiday home for a family. Lovely accommodation, which has been tastefully decorated and was spotlessly clean for our arrival. The outdoor space has been a huge hit for us with an excellent bbq pit (cleaned daily for us by Antonio 😁), table football, and table tennis. The hot tub and pool were also well used, and the herb garden kept us supplied with basil, parsley, and chillis. Angela and Antonio were outstanding hosts, bringing us freshly baked cakes and cooking fantastic pizza for us. We have loved our time here and would highly recommend La Corte del Pergolo for a comfortable and relaxing base from which to explore Puglia.

After reading the fabulous reviews, we knew this was the place for us. Angela and Antonio are incredible hosts. from check in to check out, we were taken care of in every way. the villa/home has everything you could need - our children loved the toys, ping pong table and bikes! the jacuzzi was a highlight! The fresh baked goods, wood stove pizza night, restaurant and local attraction recommendations and more...just a lovely experience. Dreamy villa!

The most beautiful property we’ve ever stayed at! The villa had so much to offer between the hot tub, pool, rooftop terrace, and outdoor pizza oven. Angela prepared us incredible daily cakes and was beyond accommodating for my 17 month old baby. They had SO many toys available for him to play with between legos, a musical play station, books, bikes, a slide and more. Angela also provided us with great recommendations for day trips and local restaurants. Great central location (7 min to locorotondo, 35 min to Polignano a mare, 12 min to Alberobello). She truly treated us like family. We can’t wait to come back one day!

Another memorable stay at La Corte del Pergolo

We have newly returned from another amazing 2 week trip, staying at La Corte del Pergolo. This is our second visit here, having spent a wonderful 3 weeks here last summer. Angela and Antonio are such warm and welcoming hosts, nothing is too much trouble. We were treated to beautiful home baking from Angela as well as a fantastic pizza night which our boys have talked about since last year! The villa is immaculately clean and beautifully maintained. There is plenty to do for a young family, with a great pool, table tennis, foosball and other toys for the little ones. We travelled with our 3 sons who are 10, 8 and 20 months and the villa had everything we needed. There is so much to do in the surrounding area too, with lots of scenic towns and beaches. Hiring a car is essential to make the most of what is on offer. This trip we ventured to Lecce, Monopoli, Martina Franca, Alberobello, Egnazia, the caves at grotte di castellana as well as plenty strolls around Locorotondo itself which is our favourite! It really is a special place to visit, we would return again without hesitation and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Grazie Millie Angela and Antonio! xx

Puglian 3 week adventure!

We have returned home today after a fabulous 3 week holiday at La Corte del Pergolo. So sad to leave but we had a wonderful time exploring the area and enjoying Angela and Antonio’s wonderful villa and hospitality. Our family age range was from 9 months old up to 76 and everything in between! There was plenty to keep everyone entertained at the villa and the surrounding area offers so much to see and do. Family favourites were a trip to the caves at castellena grotte, polignano a mare and Egnazia Roman ruins and aqua park. Locorotondo itself is a lovely town and we spent many hours there walking the streets enjoying gelato as well as the delicious wines in local bars. The property and grounds of La Corte del Pergolo are absolutely beautiful and very secluded, with easy access to locorotondo and other neighbouring towns like Martina Franca and Alberobello by car. Angela and Antonia are exceptional hosts and we were treated to beautiful home baking throughout our stay as well as the best pizza nights ever! A big hit with all the family :-) Without hesitation I would recommend anyone to stay here and we hope to return ourselves soon. Grazie mille Angela and Antonio!

The Perfect Family Getaway

If you have the opportunity to book La Corte del Pergolo, do it! The place and the hosts are equally amazing and the location is great. My family (me, my husband, our boys (9 and 7), and my parents) stayed there for a week in Aug 2024 and had an unforgettable experience. Adults can relax in a beautifully-designed and serene setting, while kids can feel a sense of freedom and have fun. The outdoor area has good visibility, is gated for safety, and offers so many activities - a 3.5 feet deep pool, a shaded hot tub (the water temp feels more like a heated pool so it is comfortable to stay in as long as you like), a water pump, foosball, ping pong table, bikes (best for younger kids as they have training wheels), and a grassy area. On top of this, the hosts, who live closeby, are kind, warm, exceptional. Angela and her husband go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and cared for, from greeting you, bringing surprise (and often homemade) treats, throwing a super yummy pizza party at the property, and taking care of any special needs (we had several instances where the hosts went out of their way to help). Lastly, while you feel like you are in a getaway retreat in the country, you are actually very close to shops and the town (eg coffee is just a few minutes drive, a main supermarket is only 6 min away, and the lovely historical center of Locorotondo is only a 9 min drive). This place has it all. We had a hard time leaving and already dream of going back.

Our favorite VRBO stay of all time

Our hosts/owners were the most incredible and accommodating couple we have ever experienced across all of our Vrbo travels. Their communication and hospitality are impeccable. And it shows in every detail of the house. The location was perfect…close to town and grocery. Great home base for us as we did many day trips. Italy has always been a favorite but as a first timer to this area, it’s now on top of the list! We will definitely be visiting again. A must stay location and home.

Simply Stunning

By far, the most perfect VRBO my family has ever stayed. The pictures are true, and in person the property is even more breathtaking. The care and quality of the property restoration are on display everywhere. The entire property including the pool, jacuzzi, pool house with pizza oven, outdoor shower, herb garden, gorgeous yard and patios, roof top areas, fooseball, and ping pong table were all ours for the week! Around the property, I loved finding many artifacts that were works of art - like the many peaks of the trulli roof, the stone well, stunning oil cisterns, and life size pottery - all my Puglia dreams were realized at Corte Del Pergalo. The property is just a few minutes from the prettiest town in all of Puglia, Locorotunda. And, in under an hour drive we were able to visit beaches on both the east and west coasts, and all the towns along the way - Monopoli, Aerberobella, Cisternina, Taranto, and many more!Our hosts were incredibly gracious and generous - treating our family and our Italian relatives to a homemade pizza night. it was incredible! Our Italian family members were as impressed as we Americans were - by the property, our hosts, and the delicious food. I really don’t know what to say except that I don’t think we will ever stay anywhere else in Puglia bc Corte Del Pergolo is perfect in every way

Simply, the best

This is a beautiful home in the Trulli style of Puglia. We so enjoyed staying in this very unique home so beautifully built and very original. Everything is perfect. The home is clean, it has comfortable beds, a kitchen with enough dishes and pans for cooking and serving. As a bonus there is an outdoor BBQ and a pizza oven. The grounds are lovely with various sitting areas and a swimming pool. The hosts are so generous with delicious desserts and croissants delivered some mornings. Coffee is provided as well as some basics. One evening the hosts came and made delicious pizza for our group of 6 followed by individual tiramisu. We will always remember the generosity of our hosts. The property is close to the charming town of Locorotundo and many other towns and villages. We also enjoyed the beaches of Monopoly and a 3 hour boat ride between Polignano de Mare and Monopoly. This home and area offer a very special holiday to anyone that visits. We absolutely loved this place and we hope to return one day. A big thank you to our hosts.

The dream Trulli escape.

When you think of Italy you think of food, wine and lovely people. This is exactly what you get when staying at Angela and Antonio’s stunning property. From the minute we arrived to the moment we left we knew we had found the perfect property. Angela couldn’t of done more to make our stay so special, checking on us regularly and even bringing pastries and cakes throughout our stay. The property is in the perfect location and the electric gates make you feel very safe during your Italian escape. The exterior of the property is simply beautiful with the large outdoor seating areas, swimming pool and plenty of sun beds (no fighting for beds like them all inclusive holidays). The interior of the property equally takes your breath away with the large bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms whilst retaining that tradition Puglian Trulli aesthetic. Lastly, the town locorotondo is magical, with it’s idillic Italian streets and heavenly food, you won’t want to leave. However, if you do decide to travel around Puglia (& Matera, Basilicata being a must) you will find yourself in the perfect location with most popular places being within 30 mins drive and only 15 mins to Alberobello. Without writing a book about how beautiful this property is, I will skip straight to saying don’t hesitate to book your stay at La Corte del Pergolo, the only problem is, you won’t want to leave. Phenomenal stay at La Corte del Pergolo

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Corte del Pergolo - an absolutely gorgeous villa lovingly built over the course of 10 years by owners Angela and Antonio, whose hospitality, care and assistance simply overwhelmed us all. ❤ The house is impeccably clean, beautifully decorated and the kitchen is well-stocked with all gadgets and accessories imaginable. Upon arrival, Angela and Antonio provided spring water, juices, wines, soft drinks, homemade torte and biscuits for the children, and continued to treat us throughout the week with homemade pastries, taralli and tiramisu. We were even spoiled with a pizza evening where Angela and Antonio whipped up a dozen or so pizzas and calzones using the wood-fired oven in the villa's outside kitchen. Absolutely delicious. Over the week, Angela assisted us with reservations to a gorgeous vineyard and dinner in Locorotondo and offered suggestions on beaches nearby. Nothing was ever too much trouble, especially when our car rental broke down (I'll spare the details, but we would've been lost without Angela and Antonio's massive help with that). The villa is in a great location for exploring Locorotondo, Alberobello, Martina Franca and other nearby villages, and is just a 30 minutes' drive to gorgeous, sandy beaches on the Adriatic. Das beste Feriendomizil, das man sich wünschen kann

Leider gibt es nur 5 Sterne, denn sie sind nicht genug. La Corte del Pergolo ist ein fantastisches Ferienhaus, sauber, geschmackvoll, hervorragend ausgestattet. Der Garten ist gepflegt, täglich wird der Pool gereinigt. Angela ist eine tolle Gastgeberin. Mehrmals hat sie uns Kuchen gebracht, ebenso Tiramisu. An einen Abend wurde für uns Pizza im hauseigenen Holzofen bereitet, besser als in jedem Restaurant. Als wir bei der Abreise schon um 4 Uhr losfahren mussten, kam Angela mit ihrem Mann tatsächlich vorbei, um uns persönlich zu verabschieden. Wir haben jede Minute an diesem außergewöhnlichen Ort genossen. Nicht 100%, sondern 1000% Weiterempfehlung!

Dimora incantevole e ospitalità perfetta

Splendida dimora ristrutturata con gusto ed eleganza, in cui ti senti immediatamente come a casa ed immerso nella bellezza. Ogni dettaglio è, oltre che esteticamente appagante, ben progettato e curato, segno di grande attenzione e capacità organizzative da parte dei proprietari, che con il loro lavoro "a monte" semplificano e rendono piacevoli diversi aspetti della permanenza nella villa. La loro presenza è costante e discreta, le loro attenzioni continue (dalle piacevoli dolcezze culinari che ci facevano ritrovare al mattino alla simpatica serata pizza e alla sorpresa della torta per un compleanno , dalla cura degli spazi esterni e della piscina alla presenza di giochi che insieme alla piscina hanno allietato la permanenza dei nostri bimbi). Un "plus" di questa struttura è anche proprio quella di avere proprietari originari del luogo, che hanno contribuito in prima persona a quel percorso di rinnovamento e adattamento alle esigenze abitative dei tempi moderni delle bellissime strutture tradizionali del territorio quali i trulli e le lamie, e che tuttora vivono quella realtà geografica e ne hanno cura. Un luogo e persone bellissime che ci rimarranno nel cuore.

Amazing Property and Amazing Hospitality in Puglia!

This was the best VRBO we have ever rented as a family (with 3 boys ages 8, 10 and 12). From the moment of check in through the entire stay, the hosts Angela and Antonio could not have done anything better. From the amazing pizza dinner, to the daily pies and pastries, they were simply fantastic. The property itself is meticulous, spacious, beautifully decorated, full of amenities and perfectly situated for exploring all that Puglia has to offer. We can't thank Angela and Antonio enough for making our family vacation to Puglia a wonderful memory that we will cherish for a lifetime.

Fabulous Villa

Renting this villa has been so easy. Great communication through out. Angela the host is fantastic, treating us to a chocolate tart, fresh pastries, local snacks, making delicious pizzas and wonderful Tiramisu and fruit tart! The house has everything you require for a great stay.
