Not the standard we are used to : Scruffy and tired! No, we did NOT enjoy it!

Paolo and Angela escorted us to the trullo and we were grateful for that. However:- *The interior including bedding was damp. (First let of a new season?) *The place is in need of some TLC: eg the garden furniture was crude and worn out. *There was no effective screening between us and other residents. * At the weekend the parking and the pool were swamped by the arrival of a nearby family who arrived for the day. *There was not even a sunlounger. * We only managed to receive one station on the TV. There was no WiFi. * No guide notes were provided * Meagre provision of towels./ loo paper.

Ok but not like advertised pictures.

This property must have been splendid about 10 years ago. But now it’s very run down and not looked after. The hosts were responsive and nice enough but they should put more effort in cleaning the place up. The huge garden that must have been lush and green once, is overgrown and tired. Died plants and trees and an overgrown path. The swimming pool is not safe, especially for a family with children. The decking is broken, you can’t walk or lie on it for fear of splinters or tripping over. We didn’t use the swimming pool. The beddin linen are poor. Sport towels are provided instead of bath towels. Strange! No working washing machine, despite hosts insisting that it was working. It was not. We had to hand wash our clothes every day. The fridge barely cools. We had gone off food everyday. Hosts insisted it was working. WiFi not working at all. We used our phone data to be connected. The location is great, the garden big and inside is spacious. If this house had a bit more care, it would get full stars. Sadly, it isn’t and is very expensive for what it offers.

Great location

We stayed in the Trullo on the 2 guests part (i.e. small part). At first the equipment looked simple and a couple of tools could be added in the kitchen, but soon realized that nothing we couldn't cope with was missing. The outdoor equipment can do with some refreshment. The other part of the Trullo, for more guests actually looks more attractive. Enough for the bad sides, the location is great, near the quiet and lovely town of Locorotondo and its charming narrow streets and restaurants. We could also enjoy the visit to local wine producers. The property offers a large garden with many fruit trees where you can pick your nectarines, figues, grapes and others for your desserts or just snack. Being inside the Trullos brings a good rustic and warm feeling. Very good size swimming pool surrounded by sunbeds, and other benches or hammock that offer more places to relax. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back. Thank you Paolo and Angela

Bonne location toutefois notre logement est donné pour 3 personnes alors qu'il n'y a qu'un lit et vraiment pas la place d'en mettre un autre. La chambre et la cuisine ne sont pas au même endroit ( il faut sortir dehors e monter des marches pour aller dans la cuisine. Des photos du 2ème gite sont mélangées à notre annonce.

Parfait

Ce logement est très bien placé pour visiter le sud des pouilles, riche en visites. Locorotondo est une petite ville très agréable qu'il faut absolument visiter. Toute la campagne est parsemée de Trulli ce qui donne une ambiance particulière. Très bel accueil par Paolo et Angela et les photos reflètent parfaitement les lieux. La literie est confortable et la propreté irréprochable. Nous avons apprécié le calme de la campagne et n'avons pas du tout était gêné par le logement contigu au notre. Nous avons déjà signalé à nos hôtes de mettre des serviettes de toilette un peu plus grande et dans la cuisine de mettre des verres à pied pour au moins 10 personnes. Nous avons respecté le tri des ordures comme demandé par Angela et particulièrement le compost. Nous avons pu dégusté les fruits du jardin comme indiqué dans l'annonce. Nous recommandons ce logement.

Leider sind es in keinem Fall die ausgeschriebenen 60 m2 und es war auch im Vorfeld nicht ersichtlich, dass die beiden Räume Küche und Schlafzimmer nicht zusammenhängen, man muss über den Hof nach draußen und dann Treppen hoch um in die Küche zu kommen. Wohnküche bedeutet: Küchenzeile ca. 1 ,20 breit sowie Steinbank an der Wand, ein Tisch und 2 Stühle sowie ein kleiner Geschirrschrank.Der Vermieter war freundlich, es war soweit sauber, und der Pool und der Garten sowie Außenbereich sind schön. Grill ist auch da.Leider mussten aber 2 von drei Personen komplett aus dem Koffer leben, es gibt nur eine kleine Nische in der Wand mit einer Stange und 2 kleine Nachtkästchen. Das war wirklich mühsam. Der Vermieter tauchte nur kurz nochmals am Samstag nach dem Check in auf, als ich die Frau ansprechen wollte auf die zu wenigen Quadratmeter da verabschiedete sie sich schnell und sagte See you later. Sie bringe jetzt den Müll weg. Danach kam keiner mehr. Schade, im Prinzip wirklich nett dort, aber für drei Personen für 2 Wochen zu klein. Maximal 30 Quadratmeter.Die Ausschreibung ist inkorrekt. Von mehr als 50 Bildern wird das andere, wirklich große Appartment gezeigt.

Delightful Trullo in a fabulous location perfect for 2 families holidaying together

The property was very spacious with delightful comfortable outside sitting and eating areas. The property was clean and ideal for 8 people (2 families) holidaying together. The only criticism of the property would be the lack of hot water in the kitchen. Locorontondo was a charming town which we visited many times during the day and evening times, the beach at La Forcatella was sandy with a superb seafood restaurant for lunches (Ricciolandia) and good snorkelling. Fasano looked like it would be worth a visit had we had longer (1 week only for this trip) in Puglia.

Lovely holidays in Italy Pouilles region

The villa is very well located in the middle of many interesting places to visit but also beautiful beaches that you will have to discover. The location is quite but close to Locorotondo and other commodities The outside environment of the villa is wide with rock table to get meals, sofas to get a drink, swimming pool and around and also the garden itself. Inside, the 4 bedrooms are large and beds mattresses were comfortable. The 3 bath rooms are welcome when you are 2 couples with 3 adolescents like us. In the kitchen, a big fridge and a large stove to cook. May be a stable table to prepare the food would be appreciated for the cooker. We enjoyed the region, not too busy, kind local people and beautifull weather. Cherry on the cake, we could see the world championship final (France/Portugal) with the friendly neightbourg, outside on a big 4 to 3m projected screen. Thanks to them also ! Cheers Philippe.

Simply Wonderful

We had a wonderful holiday at estate Pignataro. The trullo offers everything you need for relaxing, cooking and enjoying the good life! Paolo and Angela are genuine, friendly and helpful and make sure that you feel at home in their Trullo. The garden and swimmingpool are fantastic and Locorotondo offers plenty shops, restaurants and bars. Definitely a great place to spend a holiday!

Lovely peaceful trulllo. Simple and comfortable accomodation with a large garden (with fruit trees and a swimming pool). Nice family who were extremely kind and helpful. Good base to explore the area - we had a really good week. (suggestion - the kitchen needed a few more bowls and sharp knives).

Les propriétaires sont vraiment accueillants, le Trullo est magique, le jardin est magnifique et la campagne très belle. Les villages des Pouilles sont uniques à voir avec les spécialités de la région, toujours surprenants dans ce beau Pays.

Nous avons passé un bon séjour dans les pouilles dans ce lieu si particulier qu'est le trullo ! Paolo et Angela sont très accueillants. Piscine très agréable et localisation du trullo idéale pour visiter la région. Nous avons adoré les villages de Martina Franca, Locorotondo et Monopoli! Vraiment de très jolies vacances!

A beautiful place, charming and optimal location

Beautiful environment, the region is fantastic. The trullo on top of that is really picturesque, cool in the hot days of summer, and lovely, practical kitchen. The swimming pool is also very pleasant, with a view on the countryside. Not very far from the sea, but you do need a car to go the most pleasant beaches (around Ostuni, north of Brindisi, and Polignano a Mare) Angela and Paolo were very helpful in their indications, very friendly. Although we arrived late in the evening they waited for us and took us to the house, took us around the property and offered some advice on what to do and what to see. We definitely recommend this accomodation.

Op het kleine 'landgoed' van de familie Renzoni hebben we 10 heerlijke dagen doorgebracht. De voorzieningen in ons trulli-appartement waren origineel, eenvoudig maar goed verzorgd. Het tweepersoonsbed sliep goed en in onze trullo bleef het behaaglijk koel. In de grote tuin met veel zon en schaduw van bomen en struiken en met veel bloeiende planten, hebben we vele uren ontspannen gezeten en gelegen. Aan het eind van de tuin ligt het kleine zwembad met mooi uitzicht op het lage dal. Het water is zo vroeg in het seizoen nog wat fris, maar eenmaal door hebben we er fijn onze baantjes gezwommen. De douche bij het zwembad geeft aangenaam warm water. Het is er landelijk en stil, naast en achter het landgoed liggen op enige afstand woningen van de buren. Het enige wat je hoort, zijn de vogels en bij tijd en wijle het hondengeblaf in de verte, want iedereen heeft hier wel een (waak)hond. Locorotondo ligt op ca. 3 kilometer afstand en is een van de vele leuke witte stadjes in deze streek met een doolhof aan straatjes, trappetjes en onderdoorgangen. Over de in het algemeen rustige wegen is alles goed bereikbaar met de auto en veel van deze stadjes zijn in korte tijd te bereiken. Er zijn niet zoveel restaurants en meestal is het pas tegen negen uur 's avonds drukker en daarmee ook gezelliger. Paolo en Angela Renzoni wonen zelf in Bari en kwamen met enige regelmaat langs. Het zijn vriendelijke, dienstvaardige en belangstellende mensen met een goed gevoel voor privacy. We konden elkaar in het Engels prima begrijpen. Telefonisch waren ze goed bereikbaar en als er iets mankeerde, werd direct actie genomen. Al met al een fijne vakantie, we willen zo wel terug.

Zuerst möchten wir uns bei der Familie Renzoni für die Hilfsbereitschaft und die Freundlichkeit bedanken. Diese Hilfsbereitschaft erfährt man nicht alle Tage. Zur Wohnung: Wer es ein wenig ursprünglich aber doch komfortabel haben möchte ist diese Fewo ein Gedicht. Ordentliche Einrichtung, schöner Aussenbereich mit Pool. Einfach Spitze. Sehenswürdigkeiten, die es unmengen gibt, sind mit dem Auto leicht zuerreichen. Leider war eine Woche zu wenig, um alles geniessen zu können.
