"Spotless room, nice "

"The property is a charming historic hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The pool was lovely as well, though it was a bit chilly to use it. We enjoyed sitting beside it. Our room was well appointed though cosy. People who enjoy a spacious room would want to specify that when booking. The restaurant is excellent. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner."

"A lovely family run hotel with attention to detail and great service. Great location, with a super pool (great for kids). Beautiful views across the hillsides. Breakfast was delicious and very fresh. Friday night BBQ and live music was a lovely experience. We visited a local Thai restaurant on Friday evening, as recommended by the hotel - they weren’t wrong. It was really tasty and the service excellent. All in all would highly recommend and would love to return to Hotel L’Abbaye!"

"The cottage is located in a quiet rural location a short drive away from monpazier. It is very well equipped and has a lovely private pool and I would recommend this cottage if you want a ‘get away from it all’"

"We booked Chez Suzy for a family reunion, and it was perfect. 7 berooms, most ensuite. Facilities were great too with a lovely pool and gardens. Nice bbq area with a choice of either charcoal or gas. We dined outside as we barbecued most nights with the seating area more than adequate for our number. Most of the family drove from the UK, Germany and Gibraltar and more than enough room for the 3 cars.We highly recommend and hopefully we can visit again.Evelyne proved a lovely host and was always available if needed. "Horrible checkin process. Also your room has to pass inspection before you check-out or your 100 euro deposit is not refunded. Also you have to make and strip beds and haul the sheets and towels out."
