"We stayed overnight at this hotel by chance as our flight back to the UK was cancelled at the last minute. We did not arrive until just before midnight, even so the night staff was very helpful. The bedroom was very clean and the bed was comfortable. It was good that they provided toiletries in the rooms, so we didn't have to fully unpack the case. The breakfast was good too, with plenty of choice and a lovely plate of scrambled eggs. Even better the manager gave us both a lift to the bus station in the local big town so that we could get the bus to Ljubljana."

"The property is unique but if you are going to do activities in the city is better to stay in the city otherwise you’ll be in an uber or taxi expending 15 to 20 euros each way to go to the city and back. The air conditioning wasn’t working but it was fixed right away. The staff are very nice and helpful. Again a good stay and good breakfast but only if you want to relax away from the city. Be aware all tours come out of center city Ljubljana which is about 15-17 Km away."

The rooms were very comfortable and clean, but the highlight is the location—it is literally a 3-minute walk to the entrance of Postojna Cave, which made sightseeing effortless. On-site parking was straightforward at €10 per day. We also tried the dinner buffet at the hotel restaurant; while €32 per person is a bit on the pricier side, the quality and variety of the food made it completely worth it. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the caves!"
