Beautiful property. However, a hot tub was advertised on one or more online sites we viewed, and when we got there we were told by the front reception there was no hot tub?!! In the absence of an indoor or outdoor pool (which I'm sure would attract more business should they decide to build one) the promised hot tub was the only amenity next to the spa, which decided us on booking a stay at the property in the first place. So likely we won't be back. The restaurant and the service there was excellent.

the noise from doors closing in the hallway and cupboards opening and closing was quite loud. perhaps a rubber damper on the door frame would alleviate this. otherwise the stay was lovely. great breakfast food. love that there is no carpets in the room. great location for access to 401. staff were courteous and helpful.

While walking on the trail from the hotel it was unclear as to how one would come back to the hotel without walking on the highway. The grounds were beautiful and it was a joy to sit by the pond. Nice quiet getaway.
