Do yourself a favour and avoid this property at all costs. This is not a hotel it feels more like a cheap motel. The room was absolutely unacceptable and clearly not properly cleaned. The bed felt dirty, and the sheets didn’t smell fresh. There was someone’s hair on the bathroom counter, the shower had visible mould, and the shower curtain was filthy. There was also garbage left on the dresser, and when we opened the pullout couch, we found a used, dirty paper towel underneath. To make matters worse, the hair dryer didn’t work. When we contacted the front desk, they offered to switch rooms but mentioned it would likely be in the same condition, which was very concerning. Breakfast was well below any reasonable hotel standard. The food appeared reheated, the bread was cold and stale, and the use of paper plates and plastic cutlery made the experience feel cheap and poorly managed. Several guests came in, looked at the food, and left. I stay in hotels frequently, and for the price paid, this was completely unacceptable. There are far better options available,look elsewhere.

The hotel staff were friendly. The location was great. The pool temp was too hot. Felt like a hottub. The breakfast was good. The room was very nice. The bed not very comfortable. Overall, the hotel met most our needs.

Our room was right beside the pool mechanical room, so I got to listen to the pool pump cycle all night. The room was awfully dark - easy fix, not sure why I they would leave it this way. The tv was held together by packing tape - really. Again, TV’s are cheap - why would they not fix this. The shampoo was empty? It’s pretty basic for a hotel to check these things daily - or at least it used to be. The sofa bed was unusable. My children took the mattress off and slept on the floor - and still it was awful. I could go on and on, but I won’t. Not here to bash on the hotel - but people should know. It’s run down. My wife and I stayed in the same hotel in Quebec City 6 months ago, and it was really pretty good - which is why we chose this place, in part. The Marriott right next door (shared lot) is being completely renovate by the looks of it - so I’m sure Homewood suites is next. My suggestion is to wait for that to happen. The one positive note was the the breakfast. It was clean, hot, and pretty decent - minus the coffee which was pretty bad.

The room was clean and check-in was quick and easy. The only complaint was more about other guests during our stay. A lot of kids sports teams were staying the same night as my wife and I and there was a lot of running up and down the halls screaming. Also there was a basketball court outside close to our room and a large number of kids were playing late into the night, also screaming and yelling. I totally get it, but we were there to have a quiet night away.

We booked a room for a night over March break specifically because the kids wanted to swim in a pool. We tried at 2 separate times to go swimming but the pool was freezing cold. When we asked at the front desk if it was normally that cold they told us no but also that there was nothing they could do about it. We also had an issue getting the fireplace to work. The front desk said they sent someone to fix it but when we returned to our room it still would not turn on. My husband eventually got it to work so that we could warm our kids up after their attempt at swimming. The room itself was ok. It was clean and the beds were decent.

Hello, we loved the room, the only thing that did not work was the fan in the toilet/shower room. The buffet breakfast was great! We will book the same room again next year. Thank you.
