My family and I stayed in this hotel and experienced very unprofessional service and dishonesty from the night shift staff Jovane in this end of Nov.
We went back to the hotel at around 12:30 AM. We could not open our door after inserting the key card for a few times, so we went to the lobby and asked Jovane to check whether there was a problem with our key card. He checked our card and said there wasn’t any problem and asked us to try again. We then went up to our room again and tried again but the card still did not work, so we went back down to the front desk and told him our situation. At that moment, Jovane did not respond to any of our questions for a few seconds but let out a sigh as if we were annoying him. He expressed a very inattentive and rude attitude toward our family. He took his staff card and went straight to the elevator without saying anything. He inserted our key card after he inserted his staff card and successfully opened our door, but he blamed us for having a cellphone nearby causing the malfunction of the key card and lock. It was unreasonable for a guest to take the blame when there was no reminder to tell us not to have a cellphone near the lock. Even if we were to take the blame, the attitude of Jovane towards us was irresponsible. We ended up using 15 minutes just to get into our room "without a single apology" or even being treated with any acceptable or fair attitude.
