"Stayed here for a weekend. It’s a pleasant place to spend quality time with family in Long Beach. The breakfast and staff were great, and the location is quiet and relaxing. The property does show some age, but it adds to its character."
Ocean-front Cedar Cabin, Horse/Dog friendly, Birdwatcher's paradise!
10/10 Excellent
"Such a peaceful, quiet guesthouse! Just walk a few hundred yards across the sand dunes and there’s the beach. Equipped with all you could need for your stay. Very dog friendly!"
"The staff were all so friendly and accommodating to our stay: from Cynthia who answered the phone when I had some booking questions and set the room up special for our labradoodle to feel at home, to Roger who greeted us at our arrival and showed us around the property so that we could enjoy the outdoor fire pit and happily allowed a late check-out,
to Patti who cheerfully cleaned before and after us! We had an awesome stay and will be back for sure! "
"Friendly staff especially the breakfast room attendant. Hotel well maintained. Walking distance to almost anything. Only word of caution is this is a VERY pet friendly hotel. They tend to put those traveling with pets on the right side of the first floor. Can you guess where we stayed? Had to sleep with window open all night. Very heavy pet smell. We own a dog but this was a bit much. Next time we are back, we will request a room anywhere else."
