"Hotel was great. As a single female, I was definitely on my guard walking the short distance from the subway to the entrance of the hotel. The entrance is 1/2 way down on a dark street and can feel sketchy late at night. If alone, have your head up and don't be distracted. Overall, hotel was quite nice and an excellent price. I found it VERY easy to take the subway or LIRR to the city or Brooklyn. Get the app TrainTime to see schedules and to buy tickets. If you're lucky, you might get a high room that looks towards Manhattan!"
