“Perfect little spot for a stopover for a night or two if you have a long drive up or down 95. My wife and I stayed there with our puppy. 2 miles to 95 and everything was walkable. Friendly neighborhood and very close to the water. Bungalow was very clean and had what you needed for a short stay. A great alternative to getting a hotel.”

“The kitchen had everything we needed and more. Place was nicely decorated for Christmas. Rooms were clean and host was very responsive and overall great. We were unaware the cabin was part of a larger facility; and so for a min, we second guessed ourself - wondering if we were at the correct address or using the right entrance. We would stay here again. ”

“We had the entire 81-acre property to ourselves (we didn't realize it was deer fly season LOL) and enjoyed ourselves. We stayed in the Rum Runner's Cabin which was immaculately clean throughout, had nice towels and linens, it was a few steps from the boardwalk to Knox Creek Dock and has an interesting history. We were charmed by the antique rum bottles on the shelves and a "Wanted" poster of a bootlegger. Worth noting in case it's a challenge: the bathtub is a clawfoot tub. John made both……
