「Excellent accommodation in an old building, loved the slopey floors and low ceilings. Luxury bathroom with bath and spacious shower. Great location, had a lovely meal in the Angel a 2 minute walk away, proper pub! Hosts were very friendly and the breakfast was excellent! Overall fantastic place to stay」

「We had a great time at Rectory Manor, a lovely old georgian country house set in mature garden of trees and lawn with a swimming pool and tennis court if you want some exercise. Our room (the Hudson) was furnished in the country house style and was supremely comfortable. The only downside was the bathroom was a bit small and slightly dated. The bath was too small to properly soak. On the plus side we had an unexpected balcony that caught the morning sun whilst giving beautiful country views...

「The Foxes Den is a perfect place to stay. Our room was very comfortable, beautifully designed and well equipped. The restaurant provided excellent food, both for dinner and breakfast. It was run very efficiently by a great team of staff.」

「The only thing that spoilt my 5 night stay was the chair in the rooms that I have used over a period of time at the Bull, they are so uncomfortable. They are not ideal for sitting on for a short / long period during an evening spent in your room watching TV. A bucket type chair would be better..」
