Checked in late and off season. Even though there's no gate guards the entrance was still available to allow visitors for Mount Rainier and checks ins to pass. Showers and bathrooms are communal. There's obviously no reception there. The breakfast staff were really kind and the meals were delicious!

The staff doesn't have any knowledge of the area, the grounds and the rooms are very poorly maintained. Rusting parts, etc. They only have a locked wifi for payment but they tell you to walk 2 minutes and stand outside another building for wifi. The place has no cell signal so to look for any directions, hikes, etc is not possible while in the room. They were short on staff so room wasn't even cleaned the first day.

The place was a good place to stay. However, there is NO TV or Internet aka WiFi in the room. There is NO Rerigerator or Microwave in the room. NO BATHROOM inside your room, aka you have to use a common bathroom for commode usage. NO PRIVATE SHOWER inside your room aka you have to use a common shower room. It makes it very hard to communicate with the outside world without WiFi It is a good place to connect with nature but without WiFi it makes it hard to plan your next set of steps be it food or next place to stay etc., It is hard to find info about the Paradise Inn and about Mt. Rainer as well. Food was decently good and staff was awesome. Not VERY VEGETARIAN or VEGAN friendly. Limited options for Vegetarian and Vegan folks. Please be aware and bring food yourself to be safe.

Could not imagine a better location for visiting the park. Good food in the ding room, friendly staff, great vibe. There was no and no internet, and I didn’t miss either!
